Love's Lemonade & Funnel Cake

Food was ok, good fries, chicken and cheesesteaks - but the funnel cake was awful- no flavor, too dense and greasy. Should go further down the boardwalk for funnel cake.

10 dollars for a cup of country time and they had the nerve to ask for a tip to pour it in said cup.

This place is called Love’s but it should be called HATE. I HATE this place, I had the worst crepe of my life. I wasted $17 on a dry, UNASSEMBLED CREPE. This is not BYOC. I want my egg and bacon to be INSIDE of the CREPE. Why was there lettuce all over the top of my barely crepe? I cried on my crepe as I ate it and I wished so bad I could undo the biggest mistake of my life. Eating at HATE’S.

We stopped at Loves coffee and bagels on our last morning in oc. We got two breakfast sandwiches. Both were delicious, and the service was top-notch. Very friendly. Like all food on the boardwalk, it is a little pricey, but everything is high these days. We will definitely stop back and try one of the crepes.

5th street cafe is amazing. Muffins, bagels omlets, , large bfast options.

We paid $56 for 3 flavorless, oily beef tacos with only cheese and sour cream (salsa and other condiments were extra), an oily chicken burrito with partially uncooked rice, and 2 lemonades. And we didn’t receive a bag to take them to go. I understand OC is a tourist industry beach town but that’s ridiculous. There are definitely better tasting and more affordable options.

I don’t write reviews often. If it’s good I write. If it’s bad I write!While the funnel cake was good, the service was unkind! There were literally nobody at 10:15PM. My friend and I order a funnel cake and while (again) there was nobody, the owner (I’m assuming?) told us to move along after he gave us the cake because it was gonna get “busy”. My friend wanted to take a picture of the funnel cake right there (on the side… NOT in front of anybody - there were nobody !). The rudeness was not necessary. Remember we provide you business and if we take pictures it's probably to promote it. Stay kind and have a better customer service.Ps: 10:25pm 2 people in line... I hope you’re not overwhelmed!

Everything is super expensive, they charge for lemon and salt, all the tacos have no sauce and the one who served us in a bad way
