I really enjoyed the soft shell crab sandwich. We came here on a slow Monday after season, luckily they were open. This place is definitely worth trying once, grab the food to go, pick up a couple of beers and enjoy it on the beach.

The best crab cakes I have ever had! No filler, all lump crab meat, and perfectly seasoned all throughout. Owners truly care about the quality of their food and take pride in excellent service. I would give a higher rating if I could. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

I had never heard of this place before. We ordered food there in . July 2023. It was some of the best food I've ever had in Ocean City. The crab cakes were excellent. The wait time was a little bit long but I could understand that because they were busy. The staff was very accommodating and polite. Next time in Ocean City I will definitely be back!

A tiny spot run by husband and wife. Great food, service, friendly, and the cream of crab soup had a crab cakes worth of meat in it. Will definitely be on my places to eat when I'm at the beach.
All I can say is I can't wait to go back. My nephew picked this place, and he surprised me with a late lunch. The restaurant is small, so we figured we would take the food back to the house.The owner was friendly and funny. It was just him and his wife, and he immediately said to please have patience. It will take a bit for the order. Totally respect any business that informs you up front. Well, let me tell you, it was worth the wait. My nephew ordered a small french fries, and he gave us a large for the price of a small. I guess he knew my sis, and i would try a few so glad he did they were so delish we devoured on our way home. We got soups and 4 crab sandwiches. All the food was amazing. The crab cakes had very little filler, just pure crab and delishesness!!! We are still talking about it and planning our next trip. We cannot wait.
We visited OC from NJ and were thankful to find Uptown Eats open even in the middle of winter. We ordered the JJ and Tom Tom sandwiches as well as the fried oysters. This was easily one of the best softshell crab sandwiches I've ever had. They hand make every crab cake fresh for your order. The fried oysters were perfect and my wife loved the Tom Tom cheesesteak sandwich and said it was definitely on par with those from Philly. Eric the owner was great, super nice guy that'll chat with you while you wait and didn't even want payment until after we finished eating! We'll definitely be back when we visit OC.
If you want a decent all lump crab cake, instead of the generally mediocre restaurant fare in OC, head to one of two carry outs. Captain's Galley in West OC or Uptown Eats on the north end of town. They both have excellent all lump, properly seasoned crab cakes. Uptown Eats also has a variety of sandwiches that have a great rep. An added bonus is the folks that own it are super nice. Highly recommended.

First time visiting OC Uptown Eats and certainly will not be our last! Fantastic Food, locally owned and great friendly service. Owner hand delivered our food to the "Porch" checked in with us several times. Owner joked with us and generally seemed to love what he does and also taking care of his guests. He even went so far as to when we were done brought us out a sample of Slippery Dumplings, they were Ah-Mazing! Thanks! We will see you again next time we are in town.
