Sandwiches prepared properly, full of meat and toppings. Cheap?, no. Better than any other chain sandwich shop? Absolutely. There is no comparison. Jersey Mike's is a distant second.

Stopped for a quick lunch, after a 20 minute wait I got a Philly with provolone and mayo, it was a solid sandwich, nothing special IMO, light on steak and a dry for my liking overall.

Can't say enough good things about Primos! Was our first time there and I will 100% make sure we go back every time we're in Ocean city. Easy ordering online, could choose my pickup time, and when I got there and had such a big order, the staff was beyond helpful and carried the heavy bags out to our car about me even asking. Stop was pleasant and the sandwiches were amazing. We were referred there by a friend who lives in Ocean City and he couldn't have been more right. I highly suggest Primos

Got the chicken cutlet sub/ blue cheese and buffalo sauce. It tasted awful and the so called cutlets were cold and mushy. They were not cutlets and more like fried chicken nuggets. My wife and daughter got and Italian sub and they said it was good. When I walked in I said I did an order online. Gave my name and he said they are making it now. Then another customer walked in and the guy said my name and tried to hand it to someone else. It was maybe a minute, I do not recommend eating here. Not trying to be mean but is was bad. 17$ for some cut up nuggets on a roll.

I was greeted warmly upon arrival. My order was bagged and ready. Bonus: I noted that they had kept the three cold subs and one hot sub separated until I arrived.
One might initially raise an eyebrow at the cost of four, Primo sized hoagies, but the subs were substantial; our two lighter eaters had to wrap up a portion for later, while two of our party members with significant appetites felt quite satisfied.
The bread was perfect, the portions of meat were generous, and the vegetables were crisp.
I’m looking forward to making Primo Hoagies one of our regular dinner destinations when we vacation in Ocean City.

It's been a while since I've been close to a Primo hoagie spot. I'm kind of glad they're not too close or I'd be there all the time. If you haven't been before, and you're just looking at the menu you may think that's a lot of $$ for a sub, but it's a great sub and worth every penny. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir about the seeded sesame Italian bread being the core of this sandwich. If you've had it before you know. Primo is the epitome of the bread makes the sandwich. I recommend the Schwartzies, my personal fave. This location did not disappoint, and their customer service was also on point. As I waited for my pick up, the cashier handed multiple (what I would call) challenging customers with tact. Did I mention they're next to a bar? Props guys and gals, keep churning out the goods.
Their steak hoagies are one of the best steak hoagies I have had in a long time. The portions are big. The 1/2 hoagies comes in a 6 or 9 in. The 9 in seems like a whole hoagie. I had enough for 2 meals. Definitely a place to go if you like hoagies. The Italian one is good too!
