Visited the Route 66 Diner during my recent trip to OC. Hot Tip. Smash Burger Tacos. Get extra sauce! Soooo good!
Had this place recommended by a local. We loved it. Very great waiter, great food, quiet. Worth every penny!

Route 66 Diner OCMD is a diner with a 50's style feel that adds to its charm. The food is incredibly fresh and tasty. The Smash Burger Tacos were excellent and the Gouda Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup is enjoyable. The Cobb salad is the best and the French onion soup is very good. For breakfast, the Cinnamon bun made in house, crispy hash browns, scrapple, and grits are delicious. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive, with staff that care about the food and are super professional. The diner has a clean and old-fashioned vibe, making it a hidden gem in OC with a fun, festive, and full of character atmosphere. The menu gives many options. Nothing fancy, no frills, just good food and good service set in a friendly atmosphere, making it a great spot to visit and an Ocean City must-visit.
