Fantastic breakfast! Cinnamon bun made in house, delicious! Crispy hash browns and scrapple, grits were perfectly seasoned. Service fast and friendly, you can tell they care about the food!

This diner is truly a hidden gem in the (otherwise abysmal) landscape of OC off-season dining! It’s in the old Dough Roller bldg, but seems it has yet to be discovered by the looks of the empty parking lot.
My husband and I enjoyed a quick breakfast here on our way out of town on a weekday morning, and were blown away by the friendly service, menu options and fun Route 66 memorabilia and decor.
The place gives off old-fashioned diner vibes, and since we had recently driven Route 66, it was particularly nostalgic.
Lorrie, our server, was so warm and friendly, and kept the coffee cup hot and full at all times. The breakfast menu had tons of options, and the food was fresh and tasty.
We plan on making this a regular stop on our visits to OC!

Just returned from Ocean City and can’t say enough about the route Diner! The food was delicious - so good that we went two consecutive days! The menu gives you so many choices!
The Diner is very clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We were so lucky to have Andrew as our waiter both days. He was so pleasant, helpful and on our second day remembered what we chose as our drinks the day before. The gentleman who removed and cleaned up after our meal was also so very nice and personable.
Visit the Route 66 Diner! You won’t be disappointed!!

Salisbury steak was delish, but the smashed potatoes were bland and green beans totally unseasoned and straight from the can...went mid-week during off season, so happy to find them open when so many restaurants arent...

This was a great diner to stop for dinner. It was very quiet when I visited, as it was off-season. The service was excellent, and the food came out fast. I ordered the Avocado BLT, and it was excellent. The avocado, Lettuce, and Tomato were all fresh, and the bacon was crisp and plentiful. The fries were good, too. I would definitely return.

We came here in October of 2024, it was very busy and chaotic and only a few staff members were actually doing their job. I remember 2 in particular that did a great job waitressing, they decided to give us our food for free since we had a long wait time which wasn’t a problem for us at all. This is a very good restaurant the food is delicious!! Shoutout to the beautiful young lady and generous young man for working so hard.
Went to OC for a quick getaway. We stopped here to grab a bite before heading to the beach. We were immediately greeted by Andrew and were seated immediately. Ordered the ribeye with French toast. Babes ordered a short stack with sausage. Anyway, the food is GOOD. Like grandma in the kitchen good. So good I came back the next morning and Andrew took care of me. He remembered me from the day before. Andrews customer service was so heartwarming and made me feel apart of the family. He kept making sure we were ok and I enjoyed our conversations. Go to this place. It’s worth it, plus more.

Well I can't say I ate the food. That's because we were seated and after 15 minutes no one acknowledged our table. The air in the restaurant was broke and we were sweating waiting for someone to come over I heard the server say they were out of champagne for mimosas in a Saturday morning. When we walked out no one even noticed. The killer is that we were in eye sight of the hostess.

I can only describe the food as nasty. The pancakes were flat with no flavor. I ordered eggs w/cheese they has no salt pepper and barely any cheese. My husband had unseasoned chicken &waffles. The only good thing at this place was the staff and the coffee.
