When the band is in a groove and the sun is setting, when the roof is open and the breeze is coming off the ocean, when the Orioles are solidly ahead and I’ve got my sunglasses down, when I have an ice cold pint of lager in my hand and my baby by my side and when I’ve got a dozen shucked and green tea shots on the way, there is no place on the island comparable.
There is no bar, restaurant or any vendor in OC that offers such a completely immersive and uniquely delightful way to relax and get on island time.
Skye Bar can give you this feeling of being lifted into an altered sense of time, astounding beauty and layers of satisfaction. I despise the inevitability of leaving; it’s the only thing I don’t like about the place.

Our food was good and our server was friendly and attentive, the food was a little pricey but that’s to be expected in a tourist town like Ocean City.
We then discovered, The Structure. An unholy creation that surely ascended from the depths of hell to burn us to a crisp atop the Skye Bar rooftop eating area. This massive chrome edifice truly put a damper on an otherwise great experience. Several of us experienced severe burns following a late afternoon dinner within the presence of this hellspawn. You would be forgiven for thinking it wasn’t so bad, but the early October sun being reflected off this creation was unrelenting. The sweltering heat caused my friend Michael to go up in smoke. I’ve attached a few photos of The Structure and a photo of Michael upon arriving and after leaving. If you decide to visit the Skye Bar Ocean City, beware of The Structure.

This place was ok, music was too loud for me and my food is cool, a little disappointed.

We got a crab cake and it was the smallest crab cake I've ever eaten. The orange 🍊 Crush was nothing but orange juice. I didn't taste any alcohol. Went to Coins tonight. The best crab and much larger. For a cheaper price. And the drink was great Tasted the alcohol.

Fun bar / grille on the roof of a plaza, wait staff was great, food prices and drinks were reasonable.
The deep fried Brussel sprouts were well prepared, but lacked a bit in the seasoning department.
We were there somewhat earlier in the evening, the live music was pretty good but a bit on the loud side.

**Restaurant Review**
I recently visited a restaurant that has a lot of potential but unfortunately fell short in a few key areas. The service from the bar staff was exceptional, nearly flawless in its attentiveness and friendliness. However, the same can't be said for the food, which left much to be desired.
The Oysters Rockefeller were served lukewarm and had a filling that resembled a bland cheese curd with a hint of spinach—definitely not the flavorful experience I was expecting. The so-called "award-winning" cheesesteak wontons were inedible; my son, adhering to his rule of never sending food back, had to eat them, even though he found them unappetizing. The crab dip was another disappointment, served lukewarm with a white baguette that tasted like it came straight from the frozen food aisle.
On a positive note, the drinks were solid, and the beef tips paired with truffle fries were decent. The fries were well-executed, but the meat was under seasoned, giving it an overwhelming iron flavor. The burger flavor was solid although just like the crab dip bread the bun was not toasted and overwhelmed the burger patty.
Overall, the two bar staff members genuinely cared about our experience and were attentive throughout the evening. However, it seems the kitchen staff could use a bit more dedication to match the front-of-house service. I left with a greater appreciation for the servers who have to deal with subpar food and a sense that the kitchen needs to step up its game.

The owner Roger was brought to his attention and was ok by the fact that there was a mouse at his restaurant.

I wish I could show the picture of the green tomato. Thank goodness the cheese was decent but the chicken was dry. The pasta dish I had was pretty good but the caprese was a huge let down. They didn’t offer a fix or substitute.

Let me paint a picture for you before you eat here. Think of future you, sitting up at 4 in the morning in the bathroom, hunched over the toilet. Not a great situation. I had the seafood Alfredo, and I’m feeling really sick right now. I would avoid it if I were anyone else. I know it was this that made me sick too because all I’ve eaten today additionally is pizza. Service was decent and the rooftop was pretty. Thought the food was good until about 3 hours ago (woke up at 1am) and have been best friends with the porcelain throne since. I think I’d try somewhere else if you’re trying to have a nice experience.
