Super nice place that we would always pass leaving Assateague. Finally stopped in and after just one visit we'll be back whenever we're in the area. Delicious food, great service and a cozy vibe.

I have to say this was the best breakfast me and my daughter had in a while. Off the main road a bit and crowded you know it’s good.they are friendly but still efficient. I’ll definitely remember this spot

Went to breakfast this morning for the first time—-the folks I went with always come here—-awesome experience!! The food was hot and delicious, bartender friendly and attentive, atmosphere was warm and festive! Great place for locals in the off season <3 thanks for a great start to my day!

We have been looking for a good breakfast diner and so happy we found a great one! The service was amazing. So friendly and efficient. The portions were huge! My omelet was perfect. Real Potato hash browns. Reasonable price. Very clean restaurant. We have found our go to breakfast place!

This place is amazing. Definitely a gem. We went down to OC for the weekend and when looking for a breakfast spot we googled best bfast in OC and the surfside rooster came up. Google was definitely correct. Its a small family place with friendly staff and awesome food. We will be back. The reviews that are negative mostly relate to wait times....we didn't have to wait but we certainly will if we have to. Highly recommend.

My biggest issue with this place is they say Nashville hot chicken but it’s a plain chicken breast pan fried. There was absolutely no heat and barely any seasoning. Other than that the food is high quality with proper portions. It’s a busy spot so service may take a minute. I would definitely recommend this place a try.
