Very cute decor and our waitress was very friendly and very nice. Unfortunately, all of the food we ordered was off. Some just tasted stale - like it had been prepped a few days ago (apples were not fresh, ice tea tasted like it had been in the fridge a few days, pancakes, where giant in size, but were dry with an overly artificial vanilla flavor). Other food seemed like it was not cooked at correct temperatures (burnt - not carmelized, overly greasy). The grits were a bit dense, but tasted good. Our waitress gave us a slight discount and exchanged some of the burnt food, but it was still an expensive and disappointing experience. I am a foodie and really wanted to like this place, but the food we ordered was not good the day we stopped by.

The parking lot is tiny for such a busy restaurant. Regarding service, our server got our order wrong. Regarding atmosphere, it's super noisy. Sit at the bar.Now for the food. Those huge cinnamon rolls referenced in a previous review is a crock. They are not only average size but very thin and cost $10 each. We had the chicken french toast. It had good flavor but the chicken was grossly overcooked and that was another $20. They are attempting to compete with high-end breakfast/brunch places. Not even close. Go to waffle house.

Breakfast at Surfside Rooster gives your tastebuds a treat. Warning, the cinnamon rolls are amazing – and big. It is hard to cut it in half to take some home, because you’ll keep sneaking bites : ) Karri was a wonderful server and knows the menu. She steered me towards the Nashville Hot Stuffed French Toast. I do not usually like French Toast, but this was incredible. Of course, covering perfectly cooked brioche French toast slices with Nashville Hot-sauced, tender, crispy chicken; stuffing it with cooked apples; then finishing it with a bourbon house-made whipped cream can be nothing else, but incredible. It is also one of the best chicken anything I have eaten. After eating breakfast at the Bad Monkey the day before, I was so pleased to find Surfside Rooster. I can not wait to come back to Ocean City, so I can try some of the other dishes here.

I just want to say a huge thank you to the staff at Surfside Rooster. Not only was the food amazing as always but they found a way to accommodate a very large group of cheerleaders, cheer-moms, and cheer-dads last minute. I can't say enough good things about this place! Thank you all so much!

The Nashville spicy chicken on its own was tasty, crunchy, and tangy, but went surprisingly well with the brioche French toast, with apples and whipped cream. Service was fantastic and friendly, especially considering how busy it was. Despite the traffic, our party of two waited less than 15min. Crabcake Benedict was the right amount of hollandaise and old bay, ham was thick & d'lish. Ordered a croissant cinnamon roll to go. Will be back with the kids on our next trip to Assateague Island or OC.Parking: Plenty of overflow parking in the back.

Good was ok but way over priced!! Service was mediocre. And atmosphere was horrible! The owner was loud and bragging about how much money was in his bank account. Will not go

Well my girl wanted a martini and they were serving martinis but she said no martinis. They have a big martini menu but no martinis. Also the bloody Mary was the worst I have ever had. Looks like she tried but seemed like cheap liquor and bad tomato juice! Some employee came out and said are they getting paid today. Lol it's Saturday st 1130 banks are closed soon. Food looked good ?. They just seemed to be in disarray! Gave me a weird feeling ?. Seems like they could be a really cool place. I don't get it!

The eggs benedict are amazing! And of course the biscuits with sausage gravy melt in your mouth. Service was great and the bar space is very cute.

I had a terrible experience in the summer, was told I'd have to wait 30 minutes to be seated, actually waited an hour and 15 minutes. It was so loud that by the time we got a table, both my partner and I had headaches. I blamed it on the summer rush. Went again during off-season, it was less busy but somehow just as loud. My partner and I beat the dinner rush and were seated immediately, placed our order. We waited 45 minutes for the food to come out, during which time we decided to ask them to box the food up so we could escape the noise. When it finally comes out, they didn't make our appetizer. We have to wait another 20 minutes for the app. So after more than an hour, we finally go home with one fresh appetizer, two cold entrees and, once again, two raging headaches. Good food, not worth it.
