Thought we'd try this place due to all the good reviews. However the food was not the best. The bread was hard as a rock. For a place that comes across as a little more high end I'd expect it to be a bit better.

Despite the rain, we had a great time at Tailchasers! The kids thoroughly enjoyed their octopus hot dogs and their meals included dessert, which is awesome!
Highly recommend the calamari and muscles fradiavlo! Jalapeño corn crab bisque was also excellent. We will definitely be back!

Had dinner here with our two small children. The service was wonderful, the food was DELICIOUS, and the atmosphere was so nice. The restaurant is family friendly as well. Highly recommend and will come back on future trips to OC!

I got the Shrimp Basket. The batter for the fried shrimp was some kind of Asian breading, which wasn't what I expected. It was not crispy at all; it was very soggy. Paired with a poorly made watermelon crush and a rude waiter, made for an unpleasant experience. They also charge 3.5% if you use your credit card as a convenience fee??

Had a party of 10. The hostess was very friendly and got us seated right away. Food and service were great. Kids enjoyed their meals as well. Will definitely be coming back...

Food was outstanding. Our server Rick was exceptional. The family had a wonderful time. After, a few bad outings lately, this was a breath of fresh air. We will be back for sure! Thanks so much!

Ps the little ones meals come with a choice of desserts and this one chose the giant rocket pop :)

We had Rick as our waiter this evening and he was great. Answered every question and the food was amazing. It was a great experience and looking forward to coming back.

Rick was the best server, considerate, timely, very congenial, fun, created a great atmosphere. We had a good night. Rick was most consecrate of a person in our party who had a seafood allergy. By the way we enjoyed our dinners and the Key Lime pie!!!

Used to love this place. We are a family of 6 and the playground was always a big draw for us. This year, they stopped allowing happy hour pricing for sitting at the playground. Nothing like a solid punishment for being a parent. After we moved to a happy hour designated area, the waitress made us feel like they didn’t want us there, barely checked on us. Food is far too expensive and low quality to have that rough of an experience.
