Just the name alone is worthy of a stop by. Warm chips and tasty house margarita for $5 during happy hour coupled with great service from Conner worth return visits. Feels like money’s worth in terms of the amount of food relative to the cost. The wild ahi filled the fajita plate! Can see the potential in the food itself like the ahi and complimentary salsa that comes with the chips are so close to being great. Like the decor and even the duct taped seats somehow work with the entire vibe and affordability of the place. $5 off fajitas in Tuesdays.

Unfortunately this place keeps changing for worse. I'm not sure who is teaching the cooks the menu but you don't put large chunks of anything in a taco , authentic or not. Food was saltier than the chips ...seriously. And the chips and salsa were great as well as our waitress however you need to serve good tasting food to continue to have people coming back. Flank steak is never to be cut in large chunks...never. Let me repeat this .never , even if your not authentic Mexican fare. I do understand that a little bit of salt can bring out flavor but it is not to be a replacement for the original flavor. This is a just a big no beyond a cold beer and chips.

Visiting from UK. Recommended by friends who are locals. Yummy red Sangria. Our meals were good but we expected greater flavor from the Tacos?Good sized portions. Great service.

I think my one star review was removed.Anyway, this is some very not good food. All Tex, no Mex.Margaritas were pretty good.Price was quite high. The worst expensive food I’ve ever eaten.

Our family WITH friends, stopped in for a LATE supper. In Short? GREAT MEAL!! GREAT SERVICE!Everyone was VERY satisfied with their selections, even my 15yo who hates everything said it was "ok" (Yikes!)The "Salsa" is actually Pico De Gallo and not spicy at all, yet very tasty and refreshing especially after squeezing lime over.We had various items from tacos to Caesar salad and Chicken tenders and fries were available for the kids.Margaritas were Just "good" as (guessing now) pineapple juice seems to have been used instead of Orange liqueur / lime juice; very much on the sweet side.Dos Equis ( XX) on draft was an exciting surprise and wildly welcome as well, as delicious! The establishment was well lit....(maybe OVER lit?) for being a bar and our dishes came out in decent time, and piping hot.My wife, a vegetarian, had a special request which they granted without hesitation.Should you stop by? From what we have seen in the past, be prepared to wait...but a Resounding, YES!Doesn't have to Authentic to be Declious, and Tequila Mockingbird absolutely was.....Take my money, Gimme the T-Shirt!!oh, and special Thanks to Tatum who was absolutely a professional, friend and sweet to our part. Thanks to the Whole Crew! We WILL see you again before leaving town.

Food was just OK. Needed more salt and more flavor. Not authentic. The staff were good and the restaurant itself was nice.

This is a nice place if you’re going to sit up at the bar and drink a Margarita. If your plan is to sit down and grab a meal then I’d go somewhere else. The food here is not worth the price you pay. The steak was not churrasco. It was a common inexpensive type that was tough and had very little flavor. The gauc was ok. The service was slow, plates were left on the table all throughout the meal and we were not asked about the food after we started to eat. The seats in the booth were old and uncomfortable with ripped covers. There were flies buzzing around. There needs to be much improvement here. The 4 + stars the restaurant received are not deserved in my opinion.

Nice atmosphere. Good drinks and the staff was very nice. However, food is not their strong point. It looked good but it was definitely not authentic (even by American standards) and lacked flavor. I have to say I enjoy Taco Bell more. Too much cheese. Rice and beans were dry and hard. Chicken was average. We added hot sauce to the complimentary salsa because it was very watery and bland. Would return for drinks at happy hour only, but eat elsewhere.

I came to this place during a birthday vacation. I have newly developed allergies. Trying to order a meal was hard related to sauces and the mixed drinks. However the amazing waitress COURTNEY was so helpful and patient. I love it. The atmosphere was great. Fast service. Food amazing and came out correct. Next trip I will return.

Love the ambient the food, and the "Tequilabird Marguerite". Definitely a place to go back.

The food was very subpar. The guacamole was very salty and the burrito was a disaster. I also have never seen green Mexican rice. Overall very disappointing meal. Won't be back

Was here earlier this year with my neighborhood Friday afternoon Happy Hour group, and I only drank margaritas, but they have great prices, an awesome selection of tequila, and their margaritas are perfect. They have daily food specials that looked really good. They are kind of tucked into a little shopping center on Rt. 50, so you might miss them if you didn't know they were there. A HUGE bar though - one of the largest I've seen in the area. Again, very deceptive from the outside. Give them a try!

The food was very fresh it’s much bigger than it looks from the outside so can be considered a hidden gem to those who love Mexican. Not greasy like a lot of them out there. Definitely recommend going during happy hour as it is a bit pricey. The cilantro rice was best I’ve ever had in all my life and my wife is obsessed with Mexican food everywhere we go.
