With its limited availability for breakfast only they obviously offer a somewhat limited menu. Their portions are generous and well prepared if not a little on the spicy side for some unexpected dishes. Prices are competitive and they do have a few standout dishes like their bananas foster that are worth trying.
This venue is almost all atmosphere with the panoramic overlook from the 6th floor looking over the back bay. Regardless of crowd size the room never feels cramped or overly loud. Located inside the Grand Hotel may discourage non-hotel guests from visiting and the abysmal parking of the hotel doesn’t help.
The wait staff is prompt and polite. They always seem to be in the middle of a shift change when we’ve been in because they seem to shuffle personal readily and you could have interactions with three of four people in a single visit.
I don’t know how practical a venue this is unless you are staying at the hotel. The breakfasts are hardly and generous and priced accordingly I’m afraid so you won’t find any significant bargain here.

there was this bald headed guy who threw me out at the restaurant because i was two minutes early. The female who appeared to be a guest no real uniform or name tag. Then this guy told me to wait two minutes outside the door instead of being professional he was rude to me. The one female was just sitting around not doing nothing on paid time. Im a nationwide food critic and travel alot, this hotel lacks training. The food was overpriced and atmosphere sucked. Ill be filing a legal complaint and leaving a bad review.

The staff was pretty nice. Our waiter was patient and knew the whole menu. The food was great because it was well made and you could tell they did not rush while making the food. But, the yogurt parfait was too expensive for the small amount they gave me. The atmosphere was mostly good but I thought they could have added more and some of the design could have been better.
The food was really good. I think that the syrup was a bit too much sweet for me and the syrup was also having no taste. The French toast was AMAZING and the yogurt parfait was to expensive and in a small amount. The waiter we had was a really good waiter! This restaurant was an overall 4 stars!
We enjoyed our stay. Great Hotel. Java Beach cafe and Epic Bar are my favorites. We will stay again .

Fabulous hotel. Kind and courteous staff. The restaurants inside could use a little work, the breakfast was good but the pizza place I would not recommend. Not only was it $50.00 for a large pizza and mozzarella sticks but our pizza arrived to our room overly greasy and uncut! We had to cut it ourselves. Other than that the hotel, the view, the beds all 10/10. Would stay here again for sure.

If you have a lot of patience the food is pretty good, if you do not like waiting to be seated or waiting a ridiculous amount of time for your drink and food then this is not the place for you. DO NOT get the apple juice 4 dollars for an 8 ounce mason jar of juice that has been watered down so much it almost taste like you are drinking dirty water.

The service here is subpar. Once seated it took a waiter 10 minutes to get to us. Another 10 minutes for our drinks to come. And 30 minutes for the food.I asked for turkey sausage with my food and I was served pork. I do not eat pork. The pancakes were underdone and looked very pale. The only thing on my plate I thoroughly enjoyed were the home fries and the fried eggs. The home fries were cooked well and seasoned properly. It’s hard to mess up a fried egg so I’m glad they didn’t.My boyfriend was served French toast and scrambled eggs. He said neither was satisfying to him. He also ordered an apple juice for his drink. The apple juice came in a very small what looked like a 4oz mason jar and the jar was not cleaned. He sent it back.Our waiter did not come to check on us after our food was served. Rather he brought us the check once we were done, that is bizarre to me.It is also very cold in here. I understand it’s winter still but you would think that would mean turn the heat up a bit. Everyone is wearing a jacket, I don’t think that is something a restaurant should want out of their guests.I would not recommend this place. There are many more restaurants in the area that seem more appealing.
