Two Thumbs Down. 1st time & last time eating there. The older waitress was rude, had a negative undertone & made us feel uncomfortable, not welcoming to us, as Guests. The eggs were crusty & the breakfast potatoes were last nights left over recooked parsley potatoes & the toast was hard & cold. We definitely had a terrible experience going there!!!

Never got food!! We were seated and given water, and then our order was taken. 30 minutes later, still no food, and that was after we watched at least 6 other people come in after us and get seated and food, and then we gave up and walked out. Ionly.gave the food and service one-star people zero was not an option.. Also, nothing was ever said to us even after we asked a sever about our food. Terrible customer service

Grace was a great hostess. She pays great attention to details. The French toast was excellent. The orange juice tastes as if it's coming directly from the orange. The potatoes were perfect. It's very clean. It's a very short walk from the beach.

Food is ok, however after finding ants (13) in our glass of iced tea the staff was extremely rude. They were not very apologetic wanted to comp the cheapest meal, not the meal of the person who consumed ants. And they weren’t going to comp the drink the ants were found in. They were clueless, couldn’t handle the math or explainations of who ate what. After alerting the waitress of the ants she immediately openly offered an explanation of having just reopened after having been closed for a week to have the place exterminated. This happened 10/24/2024 9am. I immediately called the health dept and spoke with a man and a woman about the incident (I have pic), hopefully they are shut down before more people are served ants & get sick

PLEASE READ 1st. ZERO STARS the bathrooms were GROSS. The toilets in both bathrooms were GROSS none had a seat on them. Both restrooms toilets had BROWN WATER and had multiple POOP TURDS on the toliet. The smell was killing me i had to cover my face to use the restroom. In both restrooms they had no soap to wash hands. 2nd 1 star the food was horrible. Only reason why they r getting 1 star and not ZERO STARS because my wife's niece had an egg, cheese sandwich on a bagel and she said it was good. There was 6 people (two under 13) and 5 of us did not finish our food. My wife had an omelet with pancakes. The pancakes were the worse ever. Her and my omelet was gross tasting. No one finished our food. 3rd 1 star appearance outside and inside need to be updated 4th. Where we sat the ceiling was leaking and all they placed on the floor was newspaper 5th 5 stars free parking in a parking lot 6th 5 stars for crew
I WANT A REFUND OF MY PURCHASE 1000% the health department should go to this restaurant and close it. Maryland should force business to show the health inspection grade on the outside windows because I am sure it is lower than a C.

I understand that staff can be stressed and maybe it just wasn't a good day. However, consistent experience is important. The waitress and chef were not ready to open at 7am, Lights were off until 7:10am. A few others waited outside with us. You entered to a musty basement smell, so cleanliness became an issue. The coffee tasted sour (not sure how you can mess up coffee). My husband's pancakes tasted like they were cooked in a pan that fried a crabcake or fish the night prior. His breakfast potatoes looked like they were pushed out from under the stove. The fruit tasted like some sort of cleaner or disinfectant. My waffle was a solid 7/10.
Wish it was better. Had higher expectations. Maybe it was a bad day. But, not for us.

Do not go there if you are not American! Canadian here, I went there for breakfast and the waitress assigned to us acted cold toward us and all happy with other costumers. We got our food late and cold, a group of ten who arrived after us got their food before us (we were two). The staff, except one bus boy ignored us. We got no excuses or explanation about what was going on. It was overall a very unpleasant experience. ---- N'y allez pas si vous n'êtes pas américain! Je suis québécoise et j'y suis allée pour déjeuner, notre serveuse était bête avec nous et souriante avec les autres clients. Nous avons attendu longtemps pour nos repas et la nourriture est arrivée froide, un groupe de dix qui est arrivé après nous a reçu sa commande avant nous alors que nous étions deux. Le personnel, à part un bus boy, nous ignorait. Nous n'avons eu aucune excuse ou explication sur pourquoi la nourriture n'arrivait pas. C'était au final une expérience assez désagréable.

Old place that seems to be somewhat clean. Staff is very friendly and service is great. Got a bacon egg and cheese which reminded me of getting an omelet out of a carton with dried bacon bits mixed in at college dining hall. Orange juice is fresh but very expensive
