Our mate was harassed by the bouncer when entering on Saturday, 10 Aug 2024. The bouncer told him his ID was fake then damaged his valid, legitimate NC drivers license and threatened to “throw him down the f’in stairs head first.”. This is absolutely unacceptable and I request contact from the GM to discuss an acceptable remedy.

I know it’s white marlin week and crazy but they accommodate people with dogs more than people with strollers. Don’t take a sleeping baby to the restaurant thinking you can enjoy a meal. Wait time was 1 hr 20 for food. Ok. Love the place but it wasn’t a pleasant experience this round

I had the seared tuna & my better half had the Maryland crab soup with a half pound of gulf shrimp. My tuna came with mashed tators & green beans. Everything was excellent. The cream of crab soup was fantastic. Great visit & reasonable.
Definitely a hidden gem! Not too busy/crowded. Good size menu, not too small not too big but still has a bit of everything. Food came out at a good time and server checked on us frequently. Definitely recommend!

Horrible . I ask for a glass for my can of beer . I was told they did not have glasses for a can of beer. I was told she could give me a plastic cup. I said okay I will take a plastic cup. They never gave me a plastic cup. Mind you this is a tourist town . You can get a glass at the worst dive bar in Ocean City and this is the former famous Reel Inn formerly own by a well respected restaurant owner . And the new ownership does not even carry glasses for a can of beer. Many classy people ask for glasses when getting a can of beer. The food was bad also . To make matter worst I did not touch the beer and my girl friend took only one sip of her drink and said it was disgusting. When I told the manager we will pay what in front of us . You would think they would have took something off the bill , but no of course So I must say this very well may be the worst service in a restaurant in Ocean City Maryland . I really felt bad writing this review because I never write a bad review. Anyone can have a bad day , however the lack of ownership responsibility The Reel Inn had towards us as customers was horrible. So I don’t write bad reviews and do not make a habit of it . And from what I am seeing on other recent reviews there is a pattern of bad service developing . Tourist as well as prominent locals look the the Reel Inn historic for quality. I am sorry it is not there anymore

If I can give no stars, I would the food was disgusting and the service was horrible. Not only was the food and service was horrible. They didn’t even have any glass cups when I’ve asked for one when the place wasn’t even crowded. Also, the waitress that served me was extremely racist and rude when I asked to speak with the manager, he was also rude and the waitress through my tab at me on the table because she knew that she can get away with it through the manager you can tell they have a personal relationship going on
