We heard our favorite bartender Jen Lowe was back on Wednesdays night so we booked and extra night to be able to stop by the Shark to say Hello. Happy hour at the Shark is our favorite place to go while visiting the Ocean. This was night number 3 for us this trip and as always the food was delicious maybe better than in years past. Always fresh served hot and always with a warn friendly smile. It’s always good to go the a place that’s has a feel like “Cheer’s “ atmosphere. Where they greet you like family and make sure you leave happy and looking forward to your next visit. So visit the Shark the best food in all of Ocean City.

Food: Their crab cake was good and I loved their veggie sides, but I wish they had given more of them instead of the beans n rice and cornbread that we all agreed seemed like an odd filler that was honestly plain and dry.

My friend enjoyed her soft shell crab. She found the sauce to be an odd flavor combination... she said it was good tasting, just not on crab.

My son's basic fried shrimp n fries were good of corse, tho one of the shrimp were overcooked and dry.

My biggest complaint is that my ordered a glass of milk and it was badly spoiled... the waiter appilogized and brought us a new one, but I was disappointed when he did not remove it from the bill.

Service: We were very lucky to be seated with no wait (tho this was shoulder season). Our waiter was nice and accommodated my only wanting 1 crab cake instead of 2 for my meal for around half the price which I appreciated.

However, considering they were not that busy, it took a fairly long time for our food to come.. my son even started to complain half falling asleep on my lap.

Our waiter also never asked how our food was... neglecting to notice how I put the beans and rice on a plate at the end of the table to show I didn't care for it at all. A good server would have asked, taken it and offered a different side to replace it.

Atmosphere: We caught the end of the sunset which was nice to see on the water. The lighting was very relaxing and pretty in the windows to go well with the nice bay vibe. I was lucky and had a good view from my seat of it all. It was also not to loud which is very important to me (luckily not to busy which helped). My son enjoyed the shark things. My friends on the other side of the table however got a view of the bar and a big fan...

We stopped in for Happy Hour and dinner. I got the dynamite shrimp and they were fantastic. My wife got some nachos that were also extremely good. For dinner we ordered some crab cake sandwich and crab and shrimp dip. Every thing was exceptional. We sat at the bar, which is required for happy hour but the bartenders were very good and attentive. They did a great job keeping happy hour prices separate from dinner. Happy hour prices are good, dinner prices are pretty high compared to others in the area but the food was very good.

The shark was highly disappointing. What a dump!! We were greeted by a dilapidated parking lot and building, containers with dead plant material and sad American Flags, greasy handrails, Unsafe, stairs, torn window screen, handicapped sign, stuck in an old barrel. We expected a night of high end dining in a high-end restaurant. The food was very good. The atmosphere was terrible. The bar is in the center of the dining area and it’s very noisy. The bathrooms were disgusting. The inside Of the restaurant is in need of maintenance-dangling Tiny white lights were in operable in many of the windows. It is unfortunate that the chef is operating in such a neglected facility! He/ She deserves better!!

We were visiting the area and spent two evenings at this restaurant, that's how good it was. We sat at the bar and were treated like locals. It was absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend.

Eric our server worked on a busy night but was able to attend to our needs, as a restaurant manager myself, he attended us quite well. Our Crabcake sandwhich was a bit on the pricier side but was delivered with class thanks to Eric.

Order steak medium well it was so raw and rubbery and could not eat it. Air conditioning was dripping on our table and food. Lobster was so tiny for the price. Would not go back.

We've been coming for years. Last night dinner was just ok. Definitely not $400 worth. Streaks were cold and not cooked as we requested. Hostess staff were not friendly.
