If you're coming to Ocean City, the only place you need to stop at is Thrasher's !!! The fries are life changing !!! My step son waited maybe 10 minutes in line because we told him about how good they are. It's funny watching the seagulls come up and beg for these fries, they'll jus sit there patiently waiting until you drop one or if you're generous and give them one.

If you are visiting Ocean City MD and hit the boardwalk you will always find a line at this icon. The fries are hot crispy and delicious and that's before you add vinegar or old bay! A must try if you're not an East Coast dweller-Old Bay goes on everything here. :-). There's 3-4 sizes but check the size of the container before you order, they are usually pretty full and can be shared with others if you get the big ones. The smaller one is enough to share with 2people. Price is not bad $5,$7,$15 I think or close. The line moves quickly so don't be deceived by that long line-it moves fast and worth it!! There's no seating as it's on the boardwalk but you can go around the corner to bull on the beach tables and sit down. There's some covered patio tables there but they are few and far between. I would recommend this place for the experience and the taste of those fries. 5/5 all around.

In typical fashion, although always little greasy but what else would you expect the French fries, thrashers fries are still the best and the state of maryland. I look forward to coming back every year

ate them with vinegar. Very good way to change the way regular are eaten. Kids loved them and the adults all loved them too. Kids went back a second time that week just to eat more fries.

Getting a bucket of Thrasher's fries is, to us, an essential part of any visit to Ocean City. If you like non-crispy fries, they can't be beat. (If you like your fries crispy only, pass.)

Okay, full disclosure, I grew up in Baltimore area and visited Ocean City every year (usually several times a year). Every visit (in season) included at least one stop at Thrasher's. So, over the years of my youth I probably had those delicious fries a 100 times. I moved from Maryland over 30 years ago, so when I get back to OC, part of my love for Thrasher's might be nostalgia, but still believe those fries are the very best!

So, after coming to Ocean City, Maryland for over 15 yrs and never trying Thrasher French Fries, I thought I’d give them a try. Not sure why all the hype, Taste like any other deep fried French fry. I put plenty of salt and plenty of Vinegar and followed the whole hype…not impressed, and don’t need to try them again. I think this whole rave is just about the name and/or the,”oh everyone eats Thrasher fries so we should”! Again, NOT impressed! I ended give 1/4 of the medium sized container to the sea gulls. My buddy who also never had then before wasn’t impressed either, he threw about 1/2 of his medium sized container of fries away!

Thrasher's French Fries are the best on the beach as far as I am concerned! I always recommend them to all my guests and for the most part they all agree with or without the vinegar.
