Had a very good dinner last night. Our first visit an we really enjoyed and will return. The food was very good and the service super friendly. The only know was the decor could have been a little nicer but that wasn't too bad. I had chicken Francesco and my wife eggplant Parmesan. Both recommended.

1 person taking care of the entire place. We were seated by a very nice guy who was short handed. We waited for a while and eventually got up and left. Looking at their menu was a letdown too as they don’t have much. They stop making certain things (like simple wraps) after 3 pm which is strange. Didn’t get to try anything because we weren’t waited on. Very unfriendly patrons in there too. Overrated.

9/18/25 **edited to add** Sunny Dee is a big part of the reason why we liked Rokas so much! (Original review below) She helped train him (i believe he is seasonal, Sunny is a local) Sunny keeps the conversation going with us when we visit, recommend all the best dishes to eat, and made sure our cups were never empty. We've met her several times and now she's the reason we'll keep returning to Toast! There's nothing better than a friendly bartender who is from the area, enjoys her customers company, and is genuinely good at her job! We often talk about Toast and Sunny Dee when we are not visiting OCMD, and how we wish we could stop by to visit her!
Excellent food, Rokas was one of the BEST bartenders we've ever had in OCMD. Friendly, personable, and delicious drinks! Great views, we extended our parking time app by over 2 hours just to hang out! Happy hour prices are AMAZING! Happy Hour is DAILY from 1-6pm. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

We showed up just after sunset. View was amazing. Wife had the Egg Plant tower which she loved. Didn’t say it was the best ever but it’s up there and the fact that they used fresh basil was a big plus. I had the Vodka Parmigiana and it was pretty good. Chicken piece was very large and didn’t get much noodles. Would have preferred a smaller piece of chicken with more noodles. Service wasn’t too great. Food, salads and bread all came at once and when asked if we wanted refills on water, it either took long or never got it. Would have given 5 stars if service was better. But I still recommend.

Food was good, loved the atmosphere. If your down by the boardwalk definitely go.
The place was clean and with a special character; the food was tasty and the waitress was friendly. The sunset view was fantastic! The pricing was much reasonable than the restaurants at the ocean side. Would go again when visiting the area in the future.

For Labor Day weekend, the overall experience was meh. Subpar service on the deck area, food came out wrong (and we are pretty dang easy and understanding with this stuff), server didn't really seem to care much and the atmosphere for a Saturday night was odd/off. Pizza was OK. Not sure we would go back.
