I know 3 of the employees personally, although A Bagel And...stands on its own with delicious, fresh breakfast and lunch choices. They're known for their bagels, lunchmeats, and sandwich salad. They're also have delicious coffee and dessert items. A little pricey, but the freshness of the food and the courteous staff make it worth the visit.

When this place first opened nearly 20 years ago, it was something special. As the years have gone by I find that every time I come in I’m a little bit more and more disappointed, price has gotten insane, the bagels are good but other than that with all the other options in the area they are at the back of the line, no longer a strong front runner like they were years ago. If you want breakfast sure stop by but there are much better options elsewhere. A bagel and…. It’s been a good run, but I have stopped into your establishment for the last time.

When we come up from NC our daughter, Vicky always takes us there. The food is great, the service is great and the people are always friendly. Can't wait for our next trip back!! BTW, the bacon, egg and cheese croissant is fantastic!

In contrast to the review from a few days prior, as we are also from NY, our experience was a tad different. We felt the bagels were of good quality and a wide selection to choose from. If having the opportunity to pick up a muffin as well, good choice! Nearly a week later with some preservation we are still enjoying the bagels. The atmosphere inside was also welcoming and staff very friendly. We vacation in the area yearly and look forward to returning. Oh, and don’t forget your doggie cookies here as well.

I’m from New York. These bagels are not good. Super dense. Their saving grace is they are the only shop around.
Top notch bagels, deli, and bakery. Their everything bagel is delicious. They even sell the seasoning on the side. We also got the cinnamon bun and bagel dog. Fresh and tasty. Lots of coffee and espresso options. Dine inside or out. Highly recommended!

Love their bagels, especially when they're warm. They bake them all morning so the bagels are really fresh. Firm on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. Yummy.
