When this place first opened nearly 20 years ago, it was something special. As the years have gone by I find that every time I come in I’m a little bit more and more disappointed, price has gotten insane, the bagels are good but other than that with all the other options in the area they are at the back of the line, no longer a strong front runner like they were years ago. When we come up from NC our daughter, Vicky always takes us there. The food is great, the service is great and the people are always friendly. Can't wait for our next trip back!! BTW, the bacon, egg and cheese croissant is fantastic!
In contrast to the review from a few days prior, as we are also from NY, our experience was a tad different. We felt the bagels were of good quality and a wide selection to choose from. If having the opportunity to pick up a muffin as well, good choice! Nearly a week later with some preservation we are still enjoying the bagels. The atmosphere inside was also welcoming and staff very friendly. We vacation in the area yearly and look forward to returning. Oh, and don’t forget...
