Buck Murphy's Bar & Grill

My wife and I stopped by for the first time yesterday and had an awesome time. The food was good, our bartender, Lexie, was very friendly and attentive, and they have a good beer selection. We will be going back sooner than later!

Perfect place to come for a few drinks and a tasty meal. It's an underground bar, so no need to bust out your nicest clothes just to go out. They do karaoke on Saturdays that's a great time as well.

Regrettably, my experience at the bar this evening was marred by several unfortunate factors. The karaoke performance was highly distracting and significantly diminished the overall ambiance of the establishment. The host of the karaoke was notably absent for approximately 40% of the time, which further compromised the experience. Furthermore, the host dominated singing opportunities. Consequently, I will no longer consider visiting the bar on Saturday evenings due to karaoke.

The dining and service experience is exceptional. However, the Saturday karaoke night is disruptive due to the karaoke host’s frequent interruptions, singing most songs, and leaving the venue for extended periods. This behavior is inefficient and inconvenient for the bartenders, who are required to locate the host.

Buck Murphy's is one of my favorite spots for karaoke on Saturday night. If you like karaoke, you can't miss here.

Saturdays do get busy as the night goes on, and there are usually only 2 bartenders working. They are great but spread thin, so have patience.

The food is similar to that at The Hideaway as they are owned by the same people. It's more of a bar menu, so don't expect big entrees, but I like their sandwiches and apps.

Loud as h e double hockey sticks, but nice atmosphere. I also received excellent bar service. Happy hour is worth it.

Unbelievable food! Smoked buffalo chicken wrap was excellent. Fried Brussel sprouts weren't greasy and phenomenal! Bartender was so terrific. Can't wait to go back

Awesome local bar. Good food. Great karaoke nights. But the best thing about this place is that every weekend night around last call, someone who may or may not be Steven King sells flowers.

I don't live in the area so I decided to try out this place and it turned out to be great. Bartender always was on point serving drinks.

Came here on a recommendation, I'm from out of town. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with the pulled chicken subbed for grilled chicken. FANTASTIC. The lady working was so kind and attentive too. Great experience.

Down the stairs and through a door, Buck Murphy's is on the right side of divey. It's a cozy little joint with great atmosphere and even better food. Over a few visits, I've tried just about all the wings and have no complaints! Something for everyone on the menu, good pricing, and good drink specials.

Don't listen to the haters. My wife and I came in over the weekend and had a beer with the local regulars. Love the atmosphere and the friendly staff! Can't wait to go back, it feels like a hometown bar!

Figured I’d give this place a try. My mistake.. The waitress was rude. Service was horrible and when I tried to ask about a food menu, she just looked at me and walked away. She seemed more concerned with hanging out with and catering to the regulars. The crowd was loud, rude and obnoxious, and the guy next to me kept banging on the bar like a caveman, and the bartender didn’t mind at all or bother to say anything to him to stop. I felt like I was in some families basement and I was a stranger they had to tolerate. I wasn’t able to get any food. I was barely able to order a second drink without getting a dirty look from the bartender.Never again!
