Went for dinner 12JUN25 order dinner for our family. Ordered online for pick up conformation email order will be ready in 11m great . Got there 15m after order had to wait for fries no worries love fresh fries. Got home to dig in and out burgers were all dry. The fries were good but a little pissed for what being charged 12 bucks a burger to get a dry burger is inexcusable. Turned us off five guys .

I'm giving the service (4) stars because they at least try. It's unfortunate that they were desperately understaffed, which caused a need for their employees to multi-task tremendously! I mean seriously the service was slow....but they handled it with class and it didn't go unnoticed. I will never be angry at people who are genuinely working as best as they can!

That aside, their burgers are still good burgers as they have been for some time now.

ordered large fry asked for crispy fries even on the receipt it said it. simple request. in 3 minute time it was ready…….and not one single fry was crispy. soggy ass flavorless potatoes they call crispy fries is just raggedy. no i didn’t feel like making a big issue about it bc im not nice and yall clearly are just illiterate and slow. atp just go out of business imo for yall high af prices and tasteless soggy fries. count ya days.

God awful. Ordered 50$ worth of food and a shake plus tip just for my shake to be just chocolate milk, when I stated something about why is was so watery and the cup was dirty, the staff did nothing. Burgers were not what was ordered. I could understand if the store was busy but it was empty. Unacceptable, especially for staff that was just standing around talking. I'm disappointed with the service especially with there being no excuse for the bad quality of service.

I love this burger chain but this location falls short. There’s a lack of professionalism behind the counter. Not saying it needs to be uptight but it was clear the employees were disheveled as they loudly discussed who needed to clock out because they couldn’t make fries or shakes. Food was sloppy but I gotta say, still delicious.

The employees are incompetent and RUDE and they never give you the correct amount of fries. First: I like a lettuce wrap and when I place the order online to be picked up I opt for that AND add lettuce to it. Meaning extra lettuce. There is no way to type out the special request and it is obvious that it is confusing, so I explain what I mean when I arrive at the store. The last two times that I went in there the employees acted like I was crazy for wanting extra lettuce. Time before last employee said they didn’t know if they could do that without charging me extra. What? Unlimited toppings are a thing at this restaurant so I’m not sure why extra lettuce would cost extra. In the end, I did not pay for it, but the attitude was undesirable. Then today, I went to explain it to the employee who was in charge of setting up the to go bags. I was very friendly and doing so and she stared at me blankly did not move a muscle in her face and did not respond with any words to me. She just turned and talk to her coworker.
Now to the fries: Where other locations give sooooo many extra beyond the cup, Odenton doesn’t even fill the cup up.and don’t dare ask about it because they will be aggressively rude. After this happening on multiple occasions, tonight I asked them if they just don’t adhere to the usual 5 guys standards on fries and the employee was argumentative and did NOT end up giving me the right amount. I have taken to ordering a larger size but that doesn’t help as they just under fill the larger cup even more. Then after he was argumentative and rude I said “OK” and turned to leave and he started shouting have a nice day in a rude loud tone. Astonishingly other employees joined IN so I was being yelled at the entire time I walked out of the store. And this was after I tipped them.
I patronized the Crofton/Gambrills Location for years and never ever had one single problem there. The food was always right and they were always pleasant. Even addressed me by name and made pleasant conversation.
We will never go back to Odenton despite having moved right down the street. I will travel the extra distance to the one in Crofton where the employees are actually nice and don't Act like they are doing you a favor.

This place obviously has a problem finding decent help. Rude. Not helpful at all. And they charge $6 for a small fry to barely fill more than a small cup of fries. I don’t know if the owner gave this 5 guys directions to skimp on their food but relative to every other 5 guys in the area, this one is by far the worst. From now on, I’ll be driving past this one to go to a normal 5 guys in Crofton.
Now that's a burger! No frozen patties, just old fashioned goodness on a bun, with delicious fresh tomatoes and lettuce. And the fries are pretty good too! (This from a gal who's not a fan of them.) I'll be back when I get a craving for a good burger!

We have been to this location many times and today not only was the cashier extremely immature, telling us that he thought he would get paid today but it turns out it’s actually next week, to then telling us that he was going to quit because of it. He was awkwardly kind taking our order. When we got home and checked our order, they got my husbands order completely wrong. He ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and onion and what he got was a burger with cheese and mustard. Please hire kind competent people. We really enjoy this place and have been going for 3 years now.
