The place could be considered “sketchy” or “scary” depending on your definition, but my family has been coming here all my life and the food has always been decent. I always get the chicken lo mein and have never been disappointed. Their wings are also scarily good for a this type of restaurant.
Prices have definitely gone up and quality has gone down over the years.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, but I would not be surprised if there was a lot of cross contamination in the kitchen.

Parking: Free parking lot, but sometimes the other businesses in the building are very busy so the spots are taken.

Hunan Odenton is one of the best Chinese food spots in the area, especially if you're looking for quality carry-out. The prices are a little high, but everything is pricey in today's economy. The service is quick and efficient, so it's perfect when you need a tasty meal in a hurry. While there is seating for dining in, it’s definitely more of a carry-out spot.

Omg, if I had a choice it would be Royal Jade which was located in Greenbelt, MD and no longer exist. I thought I'd try this restaurant today and was so disappointed with the General TSO's Chicken (to sweet) and mostly with the Szechuan chicken which had little bites of meat smothered to death with dried onions (I was constantly spitting out) and carrots and not at all spicy. Hunan Rose would be the only choice in Odenton but their prices shot up while giving you less food. ??♀️

I had the dinner combo. I ordered a Hunan chicken which came with an egg roll, fried rice, and hot and sour soup. The soup was fantastic. It hit all the right spots and it cleared my senses. The Hunan chicken was savory/tender and the simplicity of the fried rice made it whole. The egg roll was a great add on as well. It was not too oily, and had a very crispy outside. I highly recommend this place. I know I will be going back again.

The beef lo mein was very good, the shrimp fried rice was over cooked and the atmosphere is not the greatest the place smells like urinal cakes but the Beef LoMein was really good

Every time I come in there to pick up my orders. There is one customer ahead of me. Which the lady working there helps the first customer. So then she should be helping me next, no she answers the phone and doesn’t say a word to me. You answer the phone and say can you please hold you help me knowing that my order is sitting right there on the table I don’t get it. I have to wait every single time.

Okay, just not a good place to get food at all. The price for spare ribs with fries is about 8 dollars. Not bad. But you get it. Its just 2 ribs (2 bones). There to many complaints here. Let show them they can't continue this way. BOYCOTT!!!
