This has to be the worse Fake Jamaican restaurant ever the food is oily over priced no seasoning the customer service was trash ..don't waste ur time your gonna be so upset

Worst $57 I’ve even spent. Don’t recommend. Food was horrible there jerk wings had no jerk vegs and rice and peas had no seasoning. Overall I give it a 1/10.

The food was really good, not the most amazing thing ever. Favourite thing was the Mac and cheese.
The plantains were okay, not the best by any means and you only get two as a side so you’re better off just getting something else.

However, the workers attitudes need an adjustment.

We went here to try for the first time and immediately were hit with some of the worst customer service. I don’t expect everyone to be happy smiley or anything because everyone can have bad days.
But it’s a lot of very sassy and rude people who work here.

I love this place. Finally there's a GOOD Jamaican restaurant in Odenton. Every dish I've had is wonderful. They never disappoint.

I got JF food truck months ago and wasn’t impressed. I decided to give them another try and wow! The pepper steak with mac n cheese is so good. The beef pattie was bangin. And the festivals were amazing. I met the owners and they really love being a part of the community. Will definitely be back. Everyone should check them out.

First time going to this Jamaican restaurant today. A friend recommend the restaurant. I ordered the oxtail meal and paid $24. Very small portion for the money I paid. It was not worth the money. And it doesn't taste like authentic Caribbean food. I will not be returning.

My wife recently told me that the food truck she used to go to opened a new restaurant. To be honest I wasn’t really interested because their food didn’t seem like authentic Caribbean food to me. However, I used to enjoy their patties every now and then. Today, I was in the neighborhood and I thought I would go support them for opening up a new black owned restaurant. While on my way to the restaurant, I ordered online. When I walked in, there was one lady at the counter speaking with the owner regarding the menu (I knew he was the owner because he told the lady he was speaking with). No big deal. I waited for a few minutes then the conversation changed to a nonsense unrelated to food. Just general questions the lady kept asking and he seemed happy to answer each question while I waited. All this time the owner watched me and refused to even acknowledge me. He could have asked the lady to move to the side so that he could deal with me. At this stage I was angry but kept my cool. He just sat there while I waited patiently even when their conversation was dying down he didn’t look up to say a word. If I didn’t order the food online I would have walked out. After a few more minutes, he suddenly looked up at me and said ‘YES SIR’ I told him what I ordered online and my food was right beside him all this time. He handed it to me with ‘There you go’. He didn’t ask me how I found out about his restaurant or apologized for waiting or tried to build rapport. I took the food and walked out. I was waiting in the car hoping that the lady he was having a conversation with left so that I could go back inside and talk to him about how I felt. Ironically I used to create strategies to help small businesses with customer service techniques using word of mouth marketing. I didn’t want to make a big deal in front of the other customer but after ten minutes of waiting I drove off and came home to write this review instead. In some Caribbean restaurants you can be greeted with rude staff but I didn’t expect the owner of all people to own a restaurant and have zero etiquette. I should have trusted my first instinct. I’ll NEVER support this place again.

I tried this place out today based on a tip from my best friend. As soon as I pulled up the mirrored windows threw me off. You couldnt see inside. Once inside it was pretty basic. I ordered the curry chicken platter with plantains and rice. I ate it while it was still hot. The flavor was decent not overly spicy.

Less than 5 min later I got the nastiest aftertaste in my mouth and began to get nauseous. By the time I got home I was throwing up. I wont be going back!

Junteeth Festival Saturday June 15, 2024. This was my first time eating their food. The Curry Chicken platter was the best that I've ever tasted. Will be going to Odenton to get their food. "THE MOST DELICIOUS JAMAICAN FOOD THAT IVE TASTED. There food is " seasoned and tasty. I have to have more!!!!!!!

I love it here so much, I normally get the shrimp platter and the shrimp is always seasoned so well and the cabbage is amazing, I have also had the brownstew chicken and the curry chicken which are always amazing. The owner is always super nice and I just love it here.
