So disappointed! As a Hispanic chef, myself, I expected more. Especially since the story behind the restaurant displays pride of introducing Hispanic culture into their family and spreading it to the community. I like the variety of tacos and dishes offered, but why is EVERY sauce with the tacos way too hot to enjoy? I like a good hot sauce, especially one that warms you as you consume it. However, heat should never overwhelm flavor. Each sauce blended into the next because the heat made it impossible to distinguish the flavor of sauce. Having a hot sauce is completely normal, but offer less hot and even non-hot sauces to cater to more variety of clientele. The menudo was the most disappointing. It's a soup that requires a lot of work, so many Mexican places don't offer it. This particular menudo was way too salty and I couldn't take more than a couple spoons before having to dump it. Maybe it was an off night, but I couldn't be more sad, since I was so excited to try this place.

Food was ok...needs some more TLC in presentation and addition of veggies in the entree. Disappoint ed no complimentary chips and homemade salsa to start. Service was wonderful and friendly. Great indoor and outdoor seating. I will go back but would rather go to Riverdale, MD to a spot there.

Lime and Salt is a conveniently located Mexican spot offering a variety of Mexican cuisine. I got the shrimp tacos as well as the guacamole starter. Everything was pretty okay, I wouldn't say the seasoning and flavor was amazing but for being hungry it did the job. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. I know they offer outdoor music and seating which is definitely an appeal. Staff was kind but it did take a while to get a hold of anyone as they did not frequently round my table. It was pretty expensive for the lack of food quality.

Let’s start with the good:
The restaurant staff is very friendly and polite, and the cleanliness is also great.

Now for food and alcohol:
We ordered a watermelon Margarita which had a great taste, but was served on a whiskey/bourbon glass for $12, so we felt a little ripped off there.

As a Texas man from a border town, and having visited Mexico several times, the food authenticity is a bit low. So it was maybe like trying crab cakes in Kansas state.

The pastor meat had no flavor, didn’t feel marinated or seasoned enough (no, I didn’t have covid).

The tortillas I’ll give them a B+

They serve the black beans cold; unless they forgot to reheat mine.

Tried the “Tinga” taco and I’ll give it a B+ as well, it was decent.

I would go and give it a second chance and try something else, but just a heads up with the above mentioned.
