Let’s start with the good: The restaurant staff is very friendly and polite, and the cleanliness is also great.
Now for food and alcohol: We ordered a watermelon Margarita which had a great taste, but was served on a whiskey/bourbon glass for $12, so we felt a little ripped off there.
As a Texas man from a border town, and having visited Mexico several times, the food authenticity is a bit low. So it was maybe like trying crab cakes in Kansas state.
The pastor meat had no flavor, didn’t feel marinated or seasoned enough (no, I didn’t have covid).
The tortillas I’ll give them a B+
They serve the black beans cold; unless they forgot to reheat mine.
Tried the “Tinga” taco and I’ll give it a B+ as well, it was decent.
I would go and give it a second chance and try something else, but just a heads up with the above mentioned.

So sad. What happened to this place? It used to be so good! Such a little hidden gem. My fiancé and I would go there for date night all the time. For the pact year or more we have notice a decline in quality of the food. Not sure if they switched suppliers but the alambre tacos are not what they used to be...among other items. The service is not where it used to be, seems a lot of crew got too comfortable. Not sure if they lost a cook but the food is just not the same. The prices do not match what you get. Beyond disappointed to lose such a staple. Used to tell everyone to come here and now I tell them don't bother that it is not worth it. Owner should be tackling these issues, however nothing has changed...just keeps getting worse. So sad!

Been in the area for a few years. Hands down the best tacos I've ever had. Reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend
It was good but I think the burrito could have more flavor. We ordered the Diego Burrito and 3 different tacos to try.

We often do takeout and can rely on them to have delicious food out quicker than most places. However, I’ve found that not all menu items are equal. The tacos are the focus and the alambre and saudero in particular are delicious. Recently I ordered a burrito, the “Diego”, which is a Cali burrito basically (ie. No rice). The burrito I got was fully rice and had only one piece of overcooked dry carne asada. I guess I’ll stick to the tacos.

Great service and authentic mexican food! The food is very good quality food. There is another place in Columbia with the same name but different owners. They are not the same! The food is much better tasting and quality at the Odenton location.

Its an okay Mexican place they dont even use glass plates instead use aluminum plates cheapest metal that dont go well with vinegar based items or tomatoes. Other than that average food not tasty at all missing basic salt,not any vegetarian options. I would not recommend this place to Mexican food lover's.
