I remember back to when I was much younger and KFC was the gold standard. This monstrosity of a bucket of chicken, and I use the word chicken lightly, was the absolute grossest, disgusting, and unappetizing waste of $50. The breading on the chicken was so thick and greasy it was like eating a sponge and had about the same taste. The grease or oil they used to cook the chicken in had probably a bit around since the colonel was still with us. The entire inside of the restaurant look like a disaster area with garbage, chicken, and trash everywhere not only in the lobby and eating area but back in the kitchen area as well. The staff were about as attentive as dead slugs. The one girl had fingernails so long that there's no way that she got them clean to even be remotely near food, but there she was. None of them acted like they wanted to be there and their attitude and the way the restaurant looked showed it. I've had many a meal all over this great land and across the globe in this by far was one of the worst meals I've ever ate. Not only was the chicken horrible, but the sides of mashed potatoes, and gravy were essentially room temperature petri dishes of biological warfare. Never again will my shadow ever darken their doorway nor drive through and eat this abomination ever again. All hail Royal Farms!

This area seen much better days. Back in the day you had Traffic Lounge, New Star Inn, My Place, Kim's Club, Bill's Lounge; all across from Ft Meade. Sue's Sub Shop for bulgogi sandwiches. A lot of Korean \\\"mom \\u0026 pop\\\" businesses and it was friendly and safe. Last time I drove past which was last Nov. most of it is shut down, the bars, liquor stores, barber shops, restaurants all mostly boarded up. Sad to see, bring back the 90s!
