I love this place a lot. there is a great feeling. The kitcen is exeptionaly good. the service is powerful and the stuff is trained. The pay is reasonable. very much recommend.

Since I found out about this place, I have been here probably ten times. Always the food is excellent. It's like home cooked food without having to clean up the mess, or going to a restaurant without having to deal with all the fanfare. Yes, there was a time a couple months ago where heating was an issue, but they brought in a space heater to help. The heating now appears to have been fixed. Good for the Eatery for carrying-on despite heating problems. Employees always efficient, always friendly. The place is clean. Not some yuppy-uppity chain place with expensive prices. For people offended by their use of plastic plates - they also serve food in reuseable/washable baskets. This type of place is desperately needed in this area.

Coffee isn't fantastic, doughnuts are fresh and amazing, and the breakfast sandwiches need a little more flavor but are pretty solid after we add Old Bay (we we bring with us like the crazy Marylanders we are). They use plastic utensils so we always bring our own.

I’ve been to this place twice. The customer service has been great. Especially the young guy who works there. The coffee and food are wonderful. I only take away stars for the cleanliness and it’s FREEZING inside. Maybe that’s good for selling hot coffee but it’s definitely not inviting. Also, I’d recommend replacing some of the tables with a couch or something more resembling a coffee shop. It’s feels pretty sterile and not in a good way. When we were there today the foot traffic was slow and the employees just kind of stood around. It would’ve been nice if they were cleaning tables or the floors. The bathrooms are kinda gross. The toilet doesn’t want to flush. I just find it off putting. Also, I don’t like that they use plastic plates and paper cups when dining in. What a waste and environmentally unfriendly. I like supporting a local establishment but I’m unsure if we will go back.

I've given this establishment a few tries. Each experience has been very different and progressively worse from a customer service and efficiency stand point. Let's start by saying that the Donuts are good and made on the spot. Sadly this is the only win for this restaurant. When you call you don't get a warm greeting, you just get a very cold, "brown box." They take a while getting your food ready so I hope you have time to wait. There is no heat on in the restaurant because, "it's warmer" back in the kitchen according to the staff. Clearly the priority is not the customer. In addition the restrooms are disgusting with signs that it is not cleaned regularly. There are stains on the floor and rings in the toilet. Not to mention the sink, which is supposed to be clean, is gross. This little Cafe has so much potential but as the years have gone by they keep declining because they do not have good customer service values. If the owner is reading this, educate your staff and leaders to coach to better values, it will go a long way and bring you business.

The food was fresh but pretty greasy. The donuts we're made when we ordered them. The potatoes had a strong seasoning. I liked the atmosphere. It felt like a good place to read a book and drink a cup of coffee.
