I ordered through door dash. Unfortunately, the price did not meet the quality or quantity of the food. The packaging is nice for average delivery but ordering food I'm more concerned about the taste.
I ordered Ayamase with White Rice it does not come with plantain despite the $40 cost. The meat tasted like it was frozen previously and re-heated. The texture of the ponmo was either very very very tough to eat (I just threw them away) or gritty and rubbery, overall odd in taste and texture.
I will not try this place in the future because the taste was unpleasant and the price was high. The price difference of $15-$20 from other similar restaurants is not justifiable despite the elevated plastic packaging.

I can't believe how good the food was. I live in a rual area and on campus. We were in need of some great pure ethnic food. And sis came through. It was delicious I had 2 orders of egusi with pounded yam, jollof with tilapia, and alot of plantains. My belle de food but my heart still craves more!!! Thank you so much. Fresh food, great service, lovely presentation. I couldn't even unrap the food totally because i was go excited by the lovely smellllll amazing, amazing, amazingggggg. Love it

This lady is a fraud!!! She changed the price of my order after I ordered and increased it by $13! How can you change a lunch item price from $42 to $55 AFTER I’ve ordered and waited for an hour for the food? For one person? Then you hang on me when I call you to ask about it? You are not serious and your business will not succeed because of your attitude. Good luck getting customers when you lack customer service. Nonsense!

If you delight in Nigerian cuisines. You wouldn't go wrong trying Abakefood. Ewa aganyin was one of my favorite lunch or brunch meals when I lived in Lagos. I tried it from Abakefood and it was as if I time travelled.
