The food was really good, and the presentation of the sushi clearly showed the effort put into preparing the dish. The quality of the sushi was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the tuna, which was super fresh and buttery; it was just amazing. Additionally, the price was pretty reasonable; I paid about $40 for what is shown in the photo. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the types of fish, which is important because different areas of the fish taste different.

This place is really awesome. Everything is fresh and the service is amazing. They also give you a house app which is really cool. While I was in town for three days I ate here twice, definitely would go back.

My wife and I were itching for a sushi fix and i started to Google some places near Columbia that we haven't tried yet and this place came up. So let me first off by saying, the service itself was pretty good, the server was nice however i had to ask for extra napkins like 3 times but whatever no big deal. We order apps, fried shrimp shumai and Daisy shrimp, both were bland and not something i would order again or recommend. On to the main course, the sushi! So we ordered the Champion Roll, Maryland Roll, and Owings mills roll. They were unbelievably bland, i mean absolutely no taste whatsoever ? I was pissed because the entire time we were discussing all the good sushi we have eaten and some of our favorite places which is not in Maryland so we don't have the luxury of just going there for sushi or else we would have. If you want some great sushi i would not recommend this place, go elsewhere! And thank me later

I came in just for a pick up order but was attended very promptly, the food came out very quickly and even was given an appetizer on the house. Over all I was sad too see not more people in there because it seems like an incredible place.

It was our first time visiting this location and everything was great! The atmosphere, the service and the food. They catered to our need to be sesame seed free and also took the time to make sure our food was exactly what we ordered.Dietary restrictions: They catered to our Sesame seed allergies.

My husband and I decided to order takeout from here after seeing the great reviews. We ordered the hibachi combos for dinner and added fried rice with each meal at an up charge. The food was really bland and absolutely no flavor at all… I will say the portion size is very decent for the price but the flavor could be improved by a lot…

This is fine dining. Don't let the Safeway next door fool you. This food is art. You will be swooning at the table. We had salmon rolls with the most incredible, fresh ingredients that sang together in perfect harmony. We also had tonkotsu ramen, and the flavor was so rich and deep, it was almost unreal. The pork was impossibly juicy and delicately sweet. The egg was perfectly tender with a buttery, jammy yolk that defied physics. The noodles had the most satisfying, perfect chew while perfectly tender and slurpable. Everything was presented beautifully. The service was impeccable. Like I said, this is fine dining. What an outstanding experience.

Stopped in while in the area. Ordered 100$ worth of different rolls to take back to in-laws. The raw fish tasted water logged/frozen lacking flavor. Cooked rolls were decent. Rolls were also 1/2 normal size so fish portions were very small. Also when did seaweed salad start coming with more cucumber than seaweed? Build a big mound of cucumber then cover with a little portion of seaweed? Not pleased, much better places in nearby Eldersburg and Westminster. Hopefully this is not the norm for Aji, as I never remember a bad experience when it was Edo Sushi.* I did just return from Orlando/Disney where I had some of the freshest tasting and well made sushi I have had in a while so maybe the bar was set too high…

Let’s talk about the most amazing Japanese restaurant in the Baltimore Area! Food is excellent! Most recently I had the bento dinner with teriyaki salmon. The shumai was delectable and wow the California rollwas like wait was that a California roll? It was definitely better than any simple California roll I’ve ever expected. Love this place! The spring rolls were crisp on the outside and fresh and crunchy on the inside.

EAT HERE. Aji is absolutely incredible, hands down, no debate. My family tried it for the first time a couple months ago, and it very quickly has become a staple in our rotation. If you are in the mood for sushi or hibachi, this is a MUST have! The hibachi has generous portions, and comes with a delightful appetizer that blew my mind. Their sushi menu has all of the classics you could want, with plenty of incredibly innovative rolls as well! I don't particularly care for sushi but every roll I've tried has firmly moved to change my stance. The service is unparalleled, and dining in is always terrific. The atmosphere is lovely with fun lights, and great music on. GET HERE!
