Juicy ...yes. would i come back? Yes. However the lost star is that we did receive a few crsbs around 4 that were fluff.

I heard CJ’s closed yesterday. We will miss them. Fantastic lunches at a great price. The staff was excellent. The staff always remembers your name and your favorite dishes. We wish everyone the best.

Always consistent when I come back to town. Their crabs are DELICIOUS.

The jumbo lump crab cake is amazing! It was so yummy! I recommend this place. Thank you and keep up the great cooking.

Long time customer who was treated rudely once COVID restaurant restrictions was lifted. It was a busy day for them. I was just trying to place an order. No customer service was executed or exercised during my encounter. I told them that when the shut down was in effect you loved and coveted your customers who chose to patron your establishment, however now that the restrictions had been relaxed, customers are back to being just another one. I told them that was no way to be and that I know that I’m just one customer, but they will NEVER get my business ever again. (The large gentleman with scruffy facial hair, who was helping behind the register was exceptionally rude.)

Worst Crab Cake I've ever had! It was overcooked, hard on the outside making it tough to eat. Bland, no seasoning either. The cole slaw was horrible too. Idk why you would put it in the same container with hot food. So disappointed with my experience. Do not waste your money here!

This was without a doubt the worst seafood EVER! I have been a patron for years, until today! I ordered the fried seafood platter & they served me old refried shrimp, scallops, & FISH STICKS(should have been whole flounder filet)! My Cole slaw was in the same container & was just as hot as the old greasy food! The crab cake was so small & tasteless...worst $27 I've ever spent! Won't be returning EVER

Purchased a dozen medium steamed crabs this evening for $50, on the expensive side but I have been coming here for 30 years so I thought I would support them! Of the 15 Crabs I was given, not one was good. They were soggy, smelly, light, and soft! These were not fresh steamed crabs, either steamed earlier and reheated or possibly even yesterday’s crabs re-steamed! Definitely a disappointment and I would suggest not wasting your money. I will no longer get crabs from this local establishment!

I love CJ’s Crab House. Crabs are always steamed fresh to order. Right amount of seasoning and juicy. Quite busy since the pandemic but they work hard to keep up. The young lady who answers the phone to take orders is polite even when she is really busy. Best crab house in Owings Mills . Believe me we don’t have many!!!!

I wanted crabs for the 4th and was amazed how quickly I was able to order from CJ’s. I have never been so disappointed in steam crabs in my life. They were the worse I have ever had. Had I not lived a distance from there I would have retuned the dozen. Everyone was bad; green on the inside and the meat was mushy. To sum it up, they tasted like they could have been old crabs reheated. Out of the dozen , I had one good crab. This was a take out order. Very disappointed.

I really wanted crabs for Fathers Day. My wife found this place and ordered a dozen large. We were a little apprehensive because we never tried this place. They were big and meaty and delicious! Thanks CJ's! We will be back to dine in when all this craziness subsides.

Today I had a taste for a seafood platter, looked at CJ's reviews and ordered from them. Big, big mistake. Everything tasted the same. Scallops and clam strips over cooked and tough. Why would you put cold , Cole slaw in a container with hot seafood. It was horrible. I gave two stars because the portion size was great. However a great portion of lousy food is just a lot of lousy food.

Great food & service, high dollar but good

I hate to be negative as I know how the restaurant business is struggling right now, however I did not have a pleasant experience here. I got carry out for Mother's Day since my mother loves their food. When I called to place the order, the woman was extremely rushed, which I do understand given the situation, however as soon as she thought I was done with my order, she hung up on me in the middle of a sentence. When I got there, more of the same. There was a man and woman checking out the orders and they were so rude (especially him), I was furious when I left. Yes, the food was very good. But for someone like me, this place is expensive and so I at least expect to be treated kindly when I come in, especially when I am paying their prices. I would not come back again. No excuse for their rude, discourteous attitude.
