Had the most tasteless pad thai dish ever from here. Paid a whopping price for it. Absolutely no flavor. Had to come back for a fork and she handed it to me with her hands on the part i eat with. No thanks.

Fortune China has the best egg rolls - flavorful and packed with meat. Never had a dish our family didn’t like. Food is hot and ready.

New management with new recipes for some dishes but all very delicious. Lunch sized dishes are huge and could easily feed 3 hungry people. Mu Hoo pork and pork fried rice had plentiful pork and were fresh as could be. Egg rolls were hot without being greasy. Will be back.
Just tried the Kung pao chicken and it is the best version I have had yet.

Our 1st time eating here Christmas night. Ordered roast pork lo mein. Wife and I agreed the lo mein lacked the flavor we normally expect from this dish. Could just be how they prepare it. Portions were big. Egg rolls were flavorful. Very friendly staff.

This restaurant is good, fairly standard American Chinese food. The decor is nice with the usual decorative tropes of lanterns, red pleather booths, fans and art on the wall, nice etched glass.
Two major criticisms. One is the music is completely incongruous with the decor. American background music. Yet the decor is supposed to transport you to feeling like you're in China. More importantly, the soundscape is mostly that of a takeout joint. The telephone is constantly (loudly) ringing with takeout orders, and the front door has a loud bell that opens every time someone walks in to pick up their order, or to get a table (two rings per person!). It is so distracting, that it's not comfortable to sit for dinner, have a conversation, etc. So I think this restaurant is first and foremost a takeout place, which is a shame because they put a lot of effort and money into making the seating area nice

New owners/management have really turned this place around. Best Chinese food in the area!
What an improvement, it’s been quite a long time since I had Chinese food because fortune china is the only place I would get it from and the quality started to slowly decline about 2-3 years ago. There was an older gentleman who was the absolute sweetest who ran it and am I could tell it was taking a toll. So I stopped eating Chinese because the place I knew and love was dying. Then today, I took a nap and woke up and wanted Chinese food. I prayed it wasn't the same as last time I had it, when I say they didn’t disappoint they understood the assignment A+. I could tell things were different by the packaging. My goodness I don’t know if it new management or what, I’m absolutely pleased and I will definitely be returning. To the place I know and love. Thank you

Fortune China serves delicious food! My favorites are Sweet and Sour Chicken with white rice and String Beans with Chicken and white rice. I also love their fried Chicken Wings with rice. And the owner is always a pleasure to chat with when I pick up my food! I just love this place. Can't say enough good things about their food and service.

When i caught him he said oh im sorry. Whenever you go to this place check your charges if you pay by card. This msn is a crook, a thief!! Wrong one buddy!!

I would suggest treating your customers with value and respect and you'll see a lot more success. You run a business, but you lack customer service. Everytime I see you, you are never happy. You don't interact with your customers, instead you greet them with an attitude as if you don't want to be bothered. You run a restaurant, yet you tell me that I can not dine inside. Although last time, I ate inside and you said nothing about it. I see why your place is always empty. You should be happy that you have a customer who wants to sit down and eat. You have one area that is closed off, everywhere else is open so if you don't want customers to dine in, why do you have the area open? You should just sell your furniture at this point because it's taking up space and maybe you will have enough money to pay your bills and you wonder why you have been having a hard time keeping your business going, it's because you don't value your customers. I would rather go somewhere where I am treated with respect and where my money is appreciated. I pray that you will change your attitude and realize that your customers are what keep your lights on, pay your bills and without them your business is nothing. You should read your reviews so you can see where you need to make improvements. Furthermore, If a customer who is paying requests for extra crispy chicken, you should follow their orders, you are not the one who has to eat the food! Things like that make customers not want to come back to your business. Take notes from China Dragon in Catonsville! See how their business is Succesful and prosperous be wuse they value their customers! And if you are worried about a customer making a small mess than you are in the wrong business. It's a restaurant, things like that do happen! Like is this a joke? And you wonder why!
I will never spend my money here ever again. The food was not that great this time around anyway and the consistency is never the same. I came here because it was close by and also wanted to give you business but never again. I will be sticking to my original Chinese spot. You are rude.
Best eggfu young in the area, unlike others in the area this place doesnt skimp on the portions. Will contue to order here.

I ordered my usual shrimp and broccoli made spicy along with a small shrimp lo mein and a shrimp egg foo young. The shrimp and broccoli was so spicy that I couldn't eat it this time. The concentration/amount of red peppers used was in excess of the norm. I called and spoke to the manager who asked me not to eat it and bring it back. The time was 9:47 pm on a Saturday evening. I explained that I live over 15 miles away. He, the owner, said that he could do nothing for me unless I returned the uneatened portion that night. He also wanted to tell me how they make the dish and how much red pepper is used and I should have specified how spicy. I attempted to explain that I order the dish the same way each time and have never been advised to say how spicy. Instead of trying to accommodate a customer of over 20 years I was meant with resistance, arrogance, disrespect and rudeness. Needless to say, this business has lost a longtime customer. I refuse to patronize anyone who tells me that since I already started eating the dish it would have to be replaced with a smaller portion and to actually bring the uneaten portion back. This is an insult. I'm not calling to complain to get a free meal and I'm not sure what kind of customers you're accustomed to dealing with but you will never get another penny from me or my family as we will take our business elsewhere.I’m
