They did a gender reveal cupcake cake for my daughter and they placed a square over the one that revealed the gender ! You did not know until they sliced the cupcake ! Everything was perfect ! Thank you for the pineapple upside down and cookies and cream cupcakes.

Taryn did my daughter’s Peppa Pig birthday cake and it was absolutely amazing — 10/10! The details were EVERYTHING, from the design to the finishing touches. It came out even better than I imagined. Communication was also excellent from start to finish, which made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again!

The cakes are wonderful, but my experience with customer service was disappointing. I reached out about a custom cake and never heard back after following up several times. When I submitted a similar request from a different email, I received an immediate response. I understand that not all requests can be accommodated, but a clear response would have been appreciated.

I found this BOB because my Baltimore go to was closed for vacation. This was a convenient stop due to the fact I was heading to Gaithersburg from DE. When I googled Black owned bakeries and saw sweet potatoes pie in the photo you have me. I loaded up with cupcakes, cheesecake brownies, and a slice to coconut cake. The only time I felt guilt was with the cake as it brings on the sweetness. Everything else was mild and tasteful. I particularly enjoyed the Charleston cupcake as it reminded me of the chocolate cakes my grandma and aunt made when I was little, nostalgia. This BOB has been added to my traveling food list.

The employee Courtney who took my order was incredibly professional and kind, even though she was managing the store alone at the time. She took the time to listen carefully to every detail of what I wanted, made helpful suggestions, and ensured everything was written down perfectly.
When I picked up my cake, I was absolutely thrilled—it looked exactly as I had described! The design, colors, and details were spot on, and it tasted just as amazing as it looked. I believe this is my fourth time ordering a cake for a special occasion and I am always amazed by the way they execute my ideas every time.

I like there cakes and products but not sure if I will ever order from them I called to see what when I could put in an order for pickup on Saturday they said Wednesday so I called on Wednesday and they told me it was too late they couldn’t do it. Now if you’re told Wednesday then you should be able to put your order in. I’m just saying you should have a backup plan when you order from Fresh Bakery because they aren’t reliable.

I normally don't leave reviews... But my experience at The Fresh Bakery in Owings Mills was truly an 11/10! The staff were so helpful and kind. I want to give a very special thank-you to the manager, who noticed I was a little disappointed that my daughter’s cake wasn’t ready in time for her actual birthday (which was due to a mix-up on my part). She went above and beyond to make sure the cake was ready by her big day, and I’m so grateful ..it truly made my daughter’s birthday extra special!
The cake was absolutely delicious and beautifully done. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for specialty cakes for any occasion. And the sweet potato cheesecake brownie Amazing!
I absolutely love this bakery. I’ve never gotten anything custom made from here so I can’t speak to that, but they’re ready made cupcakes, mini pies, and cupcakes are heavenly!!
