Food is mid level quality, but filling. The margarita drink menu is the star of the show and seems to be just enough to take your mind off food quality. Menu has generous variable options which makes it easy to dine in large group and makes repeat visits less boring

I highly recommend this place! Me and my husband love coming here, and the margaritas are amazing! The food is also very good, I have no complaints about the place at all. The customer service here is amazing as well! The boss is very friendly and nice!

Unfortunately this restaurant is now following the tacky trend of automatic tip amounts.

And my food was just average this time.

But the drinks were good.

As a result, I won't be coming back.

Jose's was disappointing. The food was lack luster and the service was not great either. Our server gave us used salsa from another table. We asked for hot sauce 3 times and never received it. Only thing going for this place were the margaritas. And also, im pretty sure they were serving 17 year old alcohol. Which is ironic because they have a sign on the front door stating not to serve minors. Lol. I would only come back for the drinks.

Food was wrong. I was going to the place once a week at one point getting the same meal. They made my food wrong. Manager was a major asshole about it. Assumed he was having a bad day. Gave the place a rest and returned. Good for a while. Food was wrong again. Same manager a super asshole. Worse than last time.Wanyed to argue. I just wanted my food corrected. Instead of making it right or adding the missing ingredients he snatched my food and threw it in the trash. I was super nice about it and he still chose the overly aggressive
route. I'm never going going back. Owings Mills location

I moved here from Chicago five years ago and I have been looking for good authentic Mexican food here in Baltimore ever since. Chicago has the best food in all ethnicities, especially my favorite, Mexican cuisine. I am very pleased to say that Jose Tequila is by far the best Mexican restaurant that I have encountered in the five years that I've lived here. I can honestly say that I stopped looking because I have found my favorite spot. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and great prices.... it's a win win for me and I will definitely be back real soon ❤️

Birria taco was great, pork belly tacos were horrible. Wife ordered chicken quesadilla also horrible. Manager on duty was argumentative and unprofessional. I do not recommend this restaurant. Tried restaurant based on TikTok review. Definite NO!

This place will forever be my go to! You're greeted with chips and salsa which is always hard for me to resist! They have really good sangria and margaritas! My go to is the prickly pear margarita. As for my meal, I always come for the surf & turf (chicken & shrimp) tacos with the sour cream on the side .. hold the rice and beans. The squeeze of lime with a little hot sauce on top will make you want to kiss the chef !!!! I've never had a bad experience here, and the food is always consistently good!

I was in there 2 weeks ago and the drinks were not good and there was a short male server that had attitude and very unprofessional and I will never go back there. This place has gone down hill since they opened
