Absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The tacos were packed with meat and perfectly seasoned, especially the shrimp and steak — so juicy and delicious. The salsa and queso were rich and homemade tasting, and the drinks were refreshing with just the right kick. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and everything came out hot and fast. Definitely coming back again — highly recommend!

Honestly, everything about this restaurant was top-notch. The service was amazing, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was just right. If you're looking for the ultimate Mexican food experience. The margaritas were on point , you HAVE to try this place. I had the best tacos of my life . The sauce was incredible. Trust me, you won't regret it!
Closed at 6:45pm on a Thursday is crazy. They were also closed the last time I came, which was during the day so that's twice in a row. There was a closed sign on the door, this time, nothing. If you're not open, adjust it on Google, like a professional establishment should.
I never leave reviews, but this one is needed. My wife and I came here for dinner. She ordered Al Pastor. The meat was burnt and dry. I ordered Birria Tacos. They had soo much cheese, I couldn't taste the flavor of the meat. She ordered a Strawberry Margherita. It had good flavor, but couldn't taste any alcohol. I ordered a glass of Horchata, but had to settle with a Root beer because they didn't have any. I wanted a refill, I walked through the entire restaurant looking for an employee, and zero was to be found. The bar had 3 customers but still ZERO employee. The only place I didn't walk was the kitchen! When we received the receipt, the tip was already included in the bill for 20%! Since when do they include tip for a party of 2? On the receipt to sign, they ask for a tip AGAIN! We are never coming here again!

Although the food is mostly good, they changed the menu. There used to be stylized versions of things like their quesadillas, but now it's just meat and cheese. The menu feels more manufactured now, and I'd really prefer that they go back.
The menu is now all on one page and if have bad eyesight, you might struggle with it. Descriptions are gone except for specialties, and there are far fewer of those than there used to be.
Overall, the experience was good (although they do need more servers), but it's not the Tolteca it used to be. Also don't get the churros. They are fried from frozen and the center was still cold.

I asked bartender to make me a fresh glass of margarita, she kept telling me that the one in the jug was made fresh
I explained that it probably would have too much sour mix in it for me. Didn't make me the glass needless to say.
Also charged $5 for a sample size of queso.
Next morning awaken withe stomach ache, cramps & diarrhea.

Update 11/1- So I went there yesterday in person and, posted on the doors, were signs that they were under new management. Once I got home and opened my order of the large queso dip, chips and refried beans I was pleasantly surprised to see that the portion size and quality had improved! That queso dip is THE main reason why I go there and this time it was not runny or thin.. it was thick, flavorful, and filled to the top. The refried beans were not watery and the portion was full. The tortilla chips were so good! Seems like the management change is improving quality. I'll return

I want to say this place, isn't so good, the food is kinda expensive, not so good, then the guy or woman who serves you in the bar, don't play the music or video if they don't like u or see you poor, it's kinda discrimination, I didn't like it,I have been there like 4 times, the other thing is you have to be careful about the bill bc they could overpricing /charge you more if they think you're drunk, if you go this place be careful, I mean isn't the place bad but just the people who be in charge, I hope this information helps the owner of this place to talk or train better his employees, like I said the place isn't too bad but sometimes the actions of the people who work there make you feel regret to be in that place.

I don’t generally do reviews, but the experience I had raises an exception. I was 1 of 4 people in the place. Service was horrendously slow. They forgot to provider utensils, napkins, etc. when they delivered food. I gave them 10 min or so. No server anywhere. I had to go searching for someone. Three employees were found, just chatting it up. Music was very loud, but they did lower it upon request. So, no biggie.
There was a 2 inch bone in the pullled chicken.
On the upside, food was ok. Not great, but not bad either. The bar area was clean and I like decor.
First time and last time I will come here.

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for true Tex-Mex good tasting queso and we finally found it here. The guac is also amazing. Glad to have found this place, definitely worth checking out.
