2025 edition: why offer online ordering if nobody is actually reading or prepping orders? Why are these people so hopelessly incompetent at running a restaurant? Down to one star.

Very bad service from the waitress, she didn't even know the menu, it took more than 30 minutes to give us the food and 10 minutes to charge us, she couldn't even count the change and she didn't give us the purchase receipt either; unprofessional when serving.

My husband picked up carryout. I got a combination meal with an enchilada, 2 tacos and a tostada. I got everything with chicken. Everything was very bland and just thrown together. The chicken was so tough I couldn’t eat it and there was chicken skin in it. Very gross. Do not recommend!

I ordered several menu items over the phone. When I arrived for pick up, everything was ready. Excellent customer service with speedy check out. However, the food was subpar. I got the nachos supreme, but to my disappointment, they were swimming in grease. The chips were soggy and the flavor bland. Overall, though,it wasn't a terrible experience, but I think next time I'll try something else. My wife and child had no issues.

We LOVE this place. It's definitely a hidden gem. They give you free chips, salsa, and some white sauce that I dont know but it's cool and different. We also like their queso, it's nice and thick. I always order chimichangas. We have had some incorrect orders because of language barrier, but it's always still good! And the music is loud, so that could be a plus or minus depending on your vibe! We go like at least every other week. Definitely give them a try.

This is my third time here and it never disappoints. The food, atmosphere, and service are all amazing. They also have lots of vegetarian and pescatarian options which really work for me.This visit I had the bean chalupa and Camarons con arroz. The flavor was like a punch in the mouth???. Definitely now one of my favorite dishes anywhere. everything I've had so far has been excellent

First time visiting the Owings Mills location. I enjoyed the experience and food. Friendly and accommodating staff. I tried their Del Mar Fajitas. It came with plenty is protein and sides. I enjoyed the meal and experience.
Visiting Baltimore for the weekend and ventured a bit outside the area for some shopping. I am so incredibly happy we stumbled across this restaurant not only was the food absolutely incredible (the star rating does not do it justice imo) but the pricing was more then fair. We had chimichangas, tacos, queso, and a giant burrito and each thing was so flavorful and came out so fast. Not only was the food amazing but our waitress was so sweet and friendly. I would highly recommend stopping by for dinner if you are in the area.

This was our first time visiting La Tolteca in Owings Mills. The food was amazing, everything was flavorful and cooked with love. The decor was very authentic and the staff were extremely pleasant. They had taco tuesday specials but I ordered the burrito, it was huge. So I will be going back to try different dishes.
