Linwoods is my mom's favorite restaurant. We've been eating there for years and this visit was the first time I've had a complaint about the food. We ordered fried oysters as a starter, they're usually exceptional, but were a little doughy and bland. They are served atop a celery root slaw that we usually fight over but it was also bland. Salads were amazing as usual as was the scallop risotto, but the shrimp scampi was flavorless. At the price point, pasta should always be exceptional (which has always been in the past). It could have been an off day or perhaps there is new kitchen management. The service was impeccable as always. I'm hoping it was a fluke.

Was a wonderful birthday dinner. Food was excellent as well as the service. We enjoyed ourselves. One issue that was also our fault- a server came to the table asking if I wanted my left over fish to go, I said yes but it never came. After some timer we paid our bill and forgot about my fish. We saw the same thing happen at the table next to us which was odd. I wish we would have remembered to ask for it. It was so delicious. One of our favorite places to eat. Food and service excellent and a wonderful wine list with very reasonable prices.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner including lobster tempura, french onion soup, Rainbow trout topped with crab imperial and a french onion burger. Our waiter, Josh, brought us complementary s'mores desserts for our celebration. Both our meals and service was outstanding. It was a fabulous dining experience and the extremely professional staff made us feel very special. We can't wait to go to Linwood's again.

Have tried everything on the menu and the only complaint we have is that we have a hard time narrowing it down to one entree - the seafood is superb as is the steak and everything else they offer. That plus a beautiful dining room with top notch staff. As good as it gets!

This place was truly amazing. We went to celebrate my mother's birthday and from the moment we walked in, everything was great. The hosts at the front were super nice and took us to our table right away. The chef even came out to wish my mother a happy birthday and make sure everything was to our liking, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The staff was wonderful. Our waitress, along with everyone who brought out food, was so nice and professional. We were a party of 5 and had a 9 year old with us. Our waitress was very accommodating and even went above and beyond to make a special sweet tea for the child.
The food was AMAZING. We ordered steak, sea bass, scallops, and salmon and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was soooo good that my dad finally understood why he should order a medium rare steak. It was cooked PERFECT. The drinks were also incredible. GET THE ESPRESSO MARTINI. It will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. It was PERFECTLY BALANCED, SUPER SMOOTH, and just DELICIOUS. Honestly, the BEST ESPRESSO MARTINI I have ever had in my entire life. My mom, dad, and sister all agreed it was amazing. We are already planning to come back JUST for that drink.
Halfway through dinner we went to the restroom and saw more of the restaurant. The whole place was very clean, and even though it was busy and every table was full, it never felt too loud or rushed. The staff looked sharp, were very attentive, and the whole place ran like a well oiled machine. The restroom was spotless, modern, and fresh with no smell and no tissue on the floor.
I also LOVED the open kitchen concept. They have a normal bar, but on the other side there is a bar that faces right into the kitchen. Next time I come, which will be very soon, I will definitely sit at the kitchen bar. And after that, I will sit at the regular bar just to see the magic that goes into that ESPRESSO MARTINI.
