I really want to be happy about this longtime local standout, however, it's been a while since I've been here and have to say I was not at all impressed. The place still looks the same, yet it is not. The service was attentive and friendly, my daughter and I sat at the bar for a full meal. We had a nice bottle of wine, shared 2 appetizers and a main course. The lobster tempura was good, the coating could have been lighter. The short rib tacos just didn't work. And the $89 au pouvre New York Strip was dry and the sauce was pretty awful. Overall a disappointing experience, likely will not be back.

Sooo good! We started with a ceaser salad which was dressed perfectly with a a very generous amount of shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano. They have a beautiful and extensive menu. My friend had their grouper and enjoyed it very much. As far as my meal goes- I can only speak for their cheeseburgers (It was just a burger kind of a day for me) as I have been there once and it is by far the best cheeseburger I've ever had! It was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. There was no wait, the dining room was immaculate, and service was extremely attentive. Thanks you Linwoods for a wonderful dinner!

Great meal, great service from all staff including busboy and server and hostess. The environment is quite nice and is not loud so you can hear the others in your party. The food is really good here though pricy. Was here for a birthday dinner. My mom and I shared two dishes, the Bronzini and the duck and scallop salad. We got the Brussels sprouts appetizer for the table. My relatives got the crab soup and a pizza with spinach and goat cheese for their meal. It looked good and filling. We all had dessert. I had chocolate bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. All in all, a good meal and a great evening. Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to Linwoods on and off for the better part of 25 years, and I’ve come to expect a delicious meal with impeccable service. I’ve never left disappointed.
My last visit was by far the best I have ever had, all thanks to our waiter, Josh. I’ve never experienced service quite like his. Every interaction with him was top notch; from his detailed descriptions of each menu item we asked about, to him explaining in detail the newest menu items and seasonal preparations, to his wonderful recommendations with wine pairings and cocktail selections. My wife and I knew exactly what our selections for the evening would look and taste like before we even finished ordering them. That takes skill. So incredibly impressive from such a young gentleman. I can see why an establishment of Linwoods caliber hired him.
We adored every minute of our date night. The food, as expected, was phenomenal. We loved the tuna steak in particular; a very cohesive dish that you won’t be able to find elsewhere. We appreciated the extensive wine list and the selections of dessert that were offered that evening. I knew by the time I parked the car that it would not be my last visit to Linwoods. After the delicious meal and excellent service, it but only confirmed how quickly I hope to be returning.
