It was my first time at Mission BBQ. I was greeted as soon as I walked in which was a pleasant surprise. Then, Jayden and Josh made my whole experience top tier. Since it was my first time ever, I had questions. They were funny, polite, patient and respectful. I will definitely come back because of them. Then, as my friend and I ate in the dining area, Felipe, was attentive to not only us but everyone. He was helping to get everything cleaned, he gave us things before we asked for it. He was very polite and respectful. All 3 of these young men deserves a raise!!!!

This was my first time to this mission bbq. I've been to other locations and have had a nice experience . When I arrived the server greeted me and I placed my order at the register and went and got my drink while I was waiting for my food to come up. I ordered a pulled pork platter with fries and a refill of my plastic cup that I purchased at a different location. Before I could fill up my drink my order was already ready. I put hot barbecue sauce on my meat and then sat down with the group I was meeting with. My food was good and my portion size was a little larger than when I got a two meat platter at a previous Mission BBQ. I enjoyed it, the fries were delicious, the cornbread was good but a little bit dry. When I finished there were staff members that were coming around and taking our trays which was very nice and very helpful. All in all a good experience, good food, a clean restaurant, clean restrooms, and a nice atmosphere. I'll be back.

Today I visited the owings mills location to get lunch after work with my husband. Well after paying $55 for 2 meals we thought the food would be 10/10 just like our Local Ellicott City location where we live. Boy were we wrong! The food was 1/10 alongside the lady who served us our food. She had a nasty attitude. The place wasn't very welcoming at all. Ill never step foot in that facility ever again. To be more specific about the food, it was dry, very hard(overcooked), and flavorless! I can build a sand castle with the mac n cheese. Disappointing at its finest. We should've waited until til we reached near home to eat. Smh! What a waste!

I don't know what has changed,,, but most of my food was cold,, the brisket,, sausage and most disappointing my cornbread,that i expect to be warm a buttery, however, my collards were steaming hot,,, I was confused,,, but I did not complain,,,, but,,, they will never have me as a customer for quite some time!!!!!!

The way everyone is moving fast NO MASK!! As a nurse, something falls from the head, such as hair, falls from face such as nose and beard hair!!! HAIR NETS FACE MASK SHOULD BE REQUIRED SIMPLY WHILE SERVING FOOD FOR OTHER TO SWALLOW!!! THIS IS DISAPPOINTING because the food is good as long as I’m not eating boogies, snot or hair from any source!! Family of 5 has walked out of the owings mills location. 😩😔

I’m writing this as my oven preheats as I was really disappointed with the portions issued for my Thanksgiving Catered Meal ordered this holiday. The meal was so attractive to be less then $200 (XL Thanksgiving Holiday Meal) marketed to yield 12-15 servings and came with reheat instructions. Upon pickup, that didn’t appear to be the case. With the holiday the very next day, I’m left cooking to substitute the lack of servings, and sold out sides selected, for my family, the very thing we were trying to avoid this year in ordering from Mission BBQ—eliminating anyone having to cook. I might’ve been better off requesting individual cups of the sides to truly see my moneys worth. Super disappointed because it’s just no way the sides would yield that advertised servings. I ordered sweet potatoes a week in advance, and still was informed upon pickup, that was oversold and I could make another selection. All my sides didn’t even come packed in the foil pans which was visibly deeper and longer in length of packaging.

For some reason the food at this location fell short of the usual standard at other locations. This was my first time visiting this location.
The cornbread was a weird cake like consistency...maybe too moist. The sweet potato mash was loaded with brown sugar on top. I've had it previous years and it's never been like that at other locations. The baked beans were ok, but also slightly off. In my experience, the food quality is usually fairly consistent across different locations.

From the moment I walked in, both greeted me warmly and made me feel completely at ease, even as I felt a bit overwhelmed by all the menu options.
Messiah was extremely patient and took the time to walk me through each choice, explaining everything clearly and helping me find what I’d enjoy most. Curtis, on the other hand, has a natural gift for connecting with people. You can tell he’s a genuine people person, he didn’t just take my order, he asked thoughtful questions about what I was in the mood for and offered spot-on suggestions that made my decision so much easier.
Both of these young men went above and beyond in their kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Their teamwork and positive energy turned what could’ve been a confusing first visit into an absolutely delightful one. Curtis and Messiah truly embody what great service is all about welcoming, attentive, and full of heart.
Mission BBQ should be proud to have such standout team members who clearly care about creating a memorable experience for every guest.

This location just feels different we normally go to Annapolis I love them both but this one feels like home. All the patriotism and support for our troops and emergency personnel it is awesome to see the ok lace looks so nice inside. Very comforting!
