This place is too upscale and nice to be in this rundown plaza. Should be in the Wegmans area

No. This is not a Japanese restaurant. Japanese restaurant doesn't sell Thai and Indian dishes. Restaurant close H-Mart quality food court at best w/o Korean dishes. Tried couple of rolls - meh. Udon - No.... I guess due to no competition this place gets good reviews.

This place never misses. It's one of those places you need to know about because everyone though it's on the main road, it's tucked in the back of the shopping center, so it's easily missed. The sushi is always fresh and high quality, exactly what you want when you're craving a good roll or sashimi. But the appetizers? It's always a must get. I'm obsessed with the tuna tartare, the soft shell crab bun, and a hidden gem not even listed on the menu: the spicy cucumbers.
On top of the amazing food, the service is always pleasant and welcoming. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, they treat you well and the experience is consistently smooth.
If you're in the area and love sushi, this spot should absolutely be on your list.

A True Gem of Japanese Cuisine!
This small Japanese restaurant is an absolute discovery! Usually, when you're super hungry, any food tastes good, but this was different: every dish was truly delicious, and that's no exaggeration.
The atmosphere in the place is incredibly cozy and relaxing, and the background music was wonderfully pleasant – it perfectly complemented the evening.
What particularly surprised me was the variety of soups. In many Japanese restaurants, the selection is limited, but here I found so many interesting options, and all of them turned out to be incredibly tasty!
The sashimi deserves a special mention: it was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth, with the perfect amount of rice that only enhanced the fish's flavor rather than overpowering it.
I highly recommend it to all connoisseurs of authentic Japanese cuisine! You definitely won't regret it.

Lovely place and friendly staff.
I stumbled upon this sushi place on the way back from a concert in Baltimore, completely by chance. Reasonably priced, great service, and overall a good sushi spot. Not a fan of the red sauce, which covered the flavors but the sakura roll was great. My friends enjoyed their sushi combos and fried ice cream.

Sushi Ya is a small place, the people were really nice, it was clean. I was craving a shrimp fried rice and an appetizer so I ordered the wonton soup ($23 online order). Service was good, but the food not so much. The only redeeming factors are the shrimp in the fried rice (they are cooked perfectly and are big) and the wontons in the soup are delicious. However, the rice has absolutely no flavor at all. It tastes like plain white rice with no seasoning plus some peas and carrots. The wonton soup doesn’t have much flavor and actually needed some salt, which I’ve never done before. I’m not sure what the sushi is like here, but stay clear of the Kitchen dishes
