Vito's Express

Person who answered phone not friendly. Received food barely hot…. As if frozen and reheated shortly. Lasagna was not meat, and Parmesan cheese was main ingredient. Garlic bread burnt and rubbery. Double burger dry and tasteless. Heard good things about here and overall very disappointed.

This is the closest to NY pizza that Maryland can get.

I've been ordering from Vito's Express for a while and the pizza is just getting better and better.

Looking at the 1-Star reviews I am amazed. This is an express location -- take out and delivery are the best options -- the drivers are always great. Friendly, fast, pizza arrives hot.

The subs are always good. The stromboli and calzone are always good.

I've never ordered the entrees, so I can't rate them, but I also wouldn't order a chicken alfredo from a pizza delivery spot...

This place is great. 10 stars.

Vitos makes the worst version of every dish I've tried there. All the 5 star reviews are from people with no taste buds. Thought it may have just been an off day for them, but they proved their inability to make anything taste good.

Baked Zitti - flavorless and soggy

Lasagna - Sloppy, soupy, greas mess with weird meat and ZERO ricotta cheese.

Buffalo Chicken Wrap - Downing in sauce. Tough chewy chicken. Awful iceberg white & brown lettuce

Pizza - Lots of toppings but zero zest. Weak sauce and hard crust.

This was by far the nastiest place we’ve ever ordered from. I’d you can’t identify it well either can we! It was supposed to be rice pudding and subs. The subs were paper thin with a little meat in them. We couldn’t even finish it because wit was so nasty! The fries never came ! Please don’t waste your time or money. This place should be shut down by the health department. I hope we don’t get sick!!

I ordered one slice of cheese pizza. The pizza has potential. They used like a half teaspoon of sauce. They need to add more sauce to the pizza. It taste like I was eating cheese bread.

I was very happy to get a salad that was fresh and crispy, fresh ingredients made it. The chicken cheesesteak was hot and wonderful. Thank you Vitos for a wonderful lunch.

I purchased a sub and fries no drink. Once I arrived to my destination to have my lunch, I unwrapped my sub and as I was pulling the sub apart to prepare myself to eat a half of it a baby roach YES! A baby roach ( black and brown) came running off of the wrapper from under the sub. The roach appears to have been wrapped into the food. I called the store and explained what happened and I informed whomever answered the phone that I would be on my way to the store. Upon arrival the three men pretended as if they had no knowledge of my incoming complaining phone call until I showed him my call log to the store. He then magically remembered. I was offered a remake of my food however, who in their right mind would want food from a place that they’re returning their previous food to due to a roach being present?!

This was my first time trying Vito’s Express and since I tried the Vitos in St. Thomas Shopping Ctr and enjoyed it I decided to give the Express a try. I thought the experience would be just as good. I called in my order for a small cheese pizza and was told it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. When I arrived, I was greeted and even exchange friendly banter with the three employees there, one of which I believe was the owner. Before I left, I opened the box and looked at my pizza and on the surface it was beautiful. When I got home and took a bite of the pizza it tasted burnt. I flipped it over , and indeed it was burnt. I called the store and explained what happened. I told them the flavor was good with the exception of the burnt crust. I was told by I believe the owner to bring it back in. I asked if they could make another one and he said yes and asked if I would like it less done. I told him yes, and proceeded to come in with the pizza. When I got there, I felt ambushed by the three who had originally greeted me so pleasantly. The owner asked me to delete the videos that I had taken of the store. The other employee the Cook, I believe Told me that I was just trying to be a troublemaker and that the pizza was not burnt it was cooked. I flipped the pizza over and showed him that is indeed overdone. He flipped over a couple slices of other pizzas and said it’s cooked not burnt. Well, most of the pieces he flipped over were overdone in my opinion, but one of them was Brown and I indicated that’s the way I would like my pizza could you cook it again? He said he was not cooking it and started taking videos of me. He said I was just trying to bring down the business. I explained that that is not my intent that I just wanted the pizza redone and I will be on my merry way. I post plenty of reviews and my intension is never to post a negative review unless the business has earned it. This business has earned my bad review because of their service and their ambush . I just wanted a pizza do over, but instead I was met with anger and told never to come in their store again. If you order out enough eventually, you will have a Food that doesn’t meet your expectations and has to go back. This is the first time that I have ever had a business not try to make good and banned me from coming back. Very sad but they truly do not have to worry about me, gracing them with my presence or dollars again ever again.

Thank Jay for reaching out. I truly appreciate you attempting to make this awful situation better. However I don’t think I would be comfortable dining at your restaurant since your cook basically threatened me and told me to never come back. I do not trust him to prepare anything for me and my family. Again thank you.
