The a/c makes it so cold 🥶 you can't eat your meal before it's cold too. The last two times I was there I shivered while I rushed to eat my food while it was still hot to no avail. It's ridiculous to keep it that cold. I think they do it purposely so people won't stay long 😕

It's good and clean. Food is good. Good to have some different things on the menu but for all that they have it is good. Just used to the things that they have. Wish they would change the menu a little but I'm sure that happens in sooner or later time

Amazing. Best bang for you buck.
I came here on a Sunday and it was $18.99 per person and the sushi alone was worth that price it was all super fresh and delicious. The costumer service was also amazing. 10/10 I would definitely recommend. And if you tried it and didn’t like it I would suggest giving it another shot.

My wife and I have been to Charm City Buffet twice. We first went there on 07-13-2025, and we went back a week later on 07-19-2025. On both of our visits, the food was fairly fresh, cooked well, and flavorful. However, on both of our visits, our waitress brought the bill to our table after about 20 minutes. This isn’t an issue, but on our second visit when she brought the bill to us after 20 minutes, she asked us if we were finished eating and also asked if we were paying with cash or card. I told her that we were paying with card and that we WERE NOT done eating our meal. She walked away only to come back 10 or so minutes later and placed the bill on our table. We felt like we were rushed out of this place having only been at our table for 30 minutes. Our total bill was $40.26. I paid the bill with my card, and drew a line through the “tip” line on the receipt and left a $5 cash tip, which I felt was more than fair considering the only interaction we had with her was when she took our plates off of the table, brought us 2 glasses of water, and brought us our bill.

Moving forward to the next day, I received an alert from my banking institution that a $10 tip was added to our bill, now bringing the grand total from $40.26, to $50.26. Wait…….i drew a line through the tip line on our receipt, and left a $5 cash tip. Once I received the alert from my bank, I attempted to call Charm City Buffet in hopes to resolve the issue without getting my bank involved, but both numbers listed were out of order.

I am choosing NOT to file a dispute through my bank, however, I will be making it my mission to raise awareness about the “illegal” business practices of Charm City Buffet, and it starts right here with this review.

I have attached a copy of our receipt that i thankfully took a photo of before we handed it to our waitress.

Stay FAR FAR away from this place. The good food does not make up for their illegal money scam.

How have I never been to this Buffet!!! O M G! The Chicken Mushroom 🍄 Soup was the bomb!! The food is delicious 😋🤤. This is the best Buffer in Maryland! Hands down!!

Pure chaos. The wait to get started is long. The good is bland and made my kids so sick (seafood) she literally vomited all over the table. The manager was really rude and said it's because she must have some type of disorder instead of admitting that the seafood could potentially be bad. I asked for a partial refund and he refused and was very rude.

I went with my family in a large party of 10 on Saturday. The place was packed and we had to wait about an hour to get seated. Once we got seated, they took our drink orders and let us get to it.

Pros
1. Hot and Fresh Food
2. Variety of offerings to choose from (Chinese, Salad, Habachi, Sushi, Chicken, Seafood)
3. Accommodations for large parties.

Cons
1. Food isn't seasoned (but condiments are available).
2. They said 2 hour max but they rushed us out after an hour. Probably because they were crowded.
3. They charge for kids by height not age.

Also, they automatically add gratuity. Not an issue but I probably would have tipped more if they didn't choose the amount for me.

I will return but it will be on a weekday.

I came to celebrate my Birthday.The wait was an hour long but we stayed because some family and guest were from our of town. The servers were very busy and forgot and brought wrong drinks. Food was hot and plenty the place was very crowded and has a 2hr limit after an hour we were brought our checks children 12,8 6 were charged as adults when asked the server said no no no all the same. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt because of the crowdedness Saturday afternoon was not the day and time to go.The tip was add to each party's receipt x3
