I spent almost $600 in crabs this weekend and dons crabs would not give free brown paper. They literally charged me $1.00 for each roll and I bought 3 rolls. This was done After I bought and paid for my crabs. I even complained to the manager and general manager based on principal from a customer appreciation perspective. Sorry dons crabs you just lost a customer over $3.00. This is a terrible business practice. When you spend hundreds of dollars you should give FREE brown paper.

This past Sunday, Feb. 23rd, our family purchased 3 dozen extra large crabs at $124 per dozen, along with 2 dozen large steamed shrimp. We were to pick them up at 5:00 pm to celebrate my birthday with our children. My husband arrived at exactly 5:00 pm and the order was ready. The shrimp were extremely large, and delicious. The crabs; however, were very dry and chewy. Flavorless, very unappetizing. If we ate at a restaurant, they would have been unacceptable and returned. This was our dinner and not conveniently located for immediate return. What a waste of $372. In all my 40+ years of enjoying MD crabs, these were horrible. From what I’ve read, they were overcooked. That’s an employee error. Both my husband and I wrote to Don’s website to express our dissatisfaction. It’s been 3 days without any acknowledgements to either of our separate letters. We certainly won’t waste any additional monies at this establishment. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but when someone takes the time to approach you about a problem and you completely ignore them, then I’ll do my best to spread the word of how poorly this business is actually run.

Crabs were old, meat was every color but white. Gave it a two rating because they gave me no problem with refunding my money and was not argumentative about the return. Stood behind their product 👍🏽

I preordered for 5pm pick up the “pick 2” I asked for 1lb of the snow crab + 1lb shrimp and Added a 6ct wings because I haven’t tried the wings.
I get there to arrive and be told my total is over $10+ more! I’m confused like when did the price change so drastically!?
Apparently the kid “Sam” took my order wrong, and when the cashier goes to “Angie” the manager she gives the most s.o.l. Energy (like hey o-well either take the screw up at full price or wait another 15 min for what you wanted and pay that full price)
I get not trying to lose the crabs I didn’t ask for but common courtesy as a business person, she Should have at least offered me a discount! I already drove 25min for my PREorder to be ready and now gotta wait another 15-20 and my wings and etc was already done.
I gave 3 vs 2 starts because they got nice specials but She “Angie” wrong for just not giving a damn

I had a real bad experience on Tuesday 2/11/2025 ordering crabs from Don's Crabs and Seafood. Before I placed my order I went to the reviews and they were given great reviews. Unfortunately mines wasn't great at ALL sad face. My crabs were really fishy the smell alone, i also brought some crab deviled eggs the worst ever! The crab meat they had on their eggs were a grayish color and smelled fishy as well. i should have checked the bag before i left the parking lot but the reason i didn't because of the reviews. i spent and wasted $80 i wanted to surprise my daughter with some crabs we both were surprised how bad they were . I live way across town in the 21230 area code. and the snow was coming so this was my first time ever and my last time , they sure do look good but that fishy smell was horrible when you open them. sign Victoria House (very disappointed)

Horrible. Nothing like it was the last time I frequented years ago. Bought a dozen jumbo males and with all the extra seasoning on the outside would’ve thought some of it woulda seeped into the meat but nope. Flavorless and tasted odd. Maybe a bad batch but I don’t have money to waste to try again. Also had no corn on gameday and I went when they opened. Highly disappointed.

Bought a dozen jumbo males and with all the extra seasoning on the outside would’ve thought some of it woulda seeped into the meat but nope. Flavorless and tasted odd. Maybe a bad batch but I don’t have money to waste to try again. Also had no corn on gameday and I went when they opened. Highly disappointed.

This is always my go to place when I want some crabs! Perfect! Not too salty and the spice heat is hitting the right spots! Sometimes you catch them with promos! It’s like jackpot out of the blue! ? Cant try other crabs. I tried one time in Reisterstown, I just got disappointed. To keep the record straight and not to disappoint myself, I’ll stick with them haha
