My boyfriend and I stopped at KSB yesterday after checking the wait for another popular restaurant in the area. We decided to take a gamble since neither of us had ever been here and I'm glad we did!!!! Flavor was good but ridiculously expensive for the amount of food you get. I ordered an oxtail dinner plus additional oxtail..after fishing thru the gravy, I only received 6 pcs?! When I called back to make sure they didn’t forget the extra oxtail, the owner said she gave me a lot and the rest of what was in the pot. Not to mention only 4 small pcs of plantain..Not worth the $36.
A place where you can find jollof rice AND Jamaican beef patties? Sign me up!
The exterior is unassuming but the interior is bright, clean, and the service is polite and attentive. Kudos to the owner for being such a delight!
