First time and it’s so good. The dessert, the crab cake, the sides. All very good. The folks obviously care about the patrons and their duty is to serve and serve well. 10 Stars! The vibe is a little bit old school and that’s a plus. It’s like a walk back in time for us 90’s kids. Can’t remember the last time I saw a big old tv but they got it and it’s real, live and not a museum. Like a walk down memory lane. Getcha some. 👍

When you are seeking comfort food on a very cold wintery day, you go to the Valley View Inn. We met friends for lunch, and we had a great time. My husband and I shared a crock of their French Onion soup. Our friends each ordered their own crock. The soup was served hot – loaded with onions topped with crusted bread and lots of cheese. It was truly scrumptious and satisfying. Knowing that they cook a fresh turkey, we ordered their Ultimate Club Sandwich to split. The club was loaded with fresh sliced turkey, fresh sliced ham, bacon, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, and light mayonnaise on white toast. It was just perfect. Our friends were very pleased with their Hot Turkey Platter. The fresh turkey was piled high with French fries and topped with gravy. We finished our meals with a slice of Carrot Cake and a slice of Lemon Meringue Pie.

The waitress named Cali singled us out in front of the other patrons loudly and basically said we were cheap with the tips. She was very serious. We tipped her on what the customary tip was on the receipt. This is very sad because my family has been going there for years

What a gem!! Went there for dinner. Had the prime rib with 2 sides delicious 😋 crab dip was amazing. Waitress was very nice and attentive. They have a nice variety on the menu. Would rather support a locally owner ed business than a chain. We will be back.
I've lived in this area for 30 years and it is the first time I've ever eaten here. I went because my wife suggested it. I got a cheeseburger and chips and my friend got a salad. The food was good and I would definitely go back. The interior is a little dated but it's not an accurate reflection of the quality of the food or the quality of the service. Our server was very attentive, constantly checking on us to make sure that the food was okay and to see if we needed any refills of our drinks. By the time I thought of taking any pictures I had already ate most of my food!

Was looking forward to a nice steak dinner. Ordered king cut prime rib. It was so tough I had lots of trouble cutting it. After fighting this piece of beef for a good while I flagged the server and sent it back. When the bill came it was full price!! After asking about it they took off $14 only. Needless to say I will not be going back there again. They should have compd me my entire meal since I didn’t eat it. Very disappointed!!!!

I went on a Thursday for lunch got the sour beef excellent hasn't changed from the last time I was there 3 years ago. The server was super. Customer that came in they were talking like family. She was also cute as a button. Differently going back more often
