DO NOT RECOMMEND. We waited 90 minutes for our appetizers (and of course entrees). We saw no one around us was getting service from wait staff or eating, so we asked for our drink check so we could leave. In that 90 minutes, no one came to give us an explanation of why we didn't get any food. After asking a manager directly to find out what the delay was, she NEVER CAME back to our table. Just sent our server with a zeroed out check, cancelling our order. No one from Tall Tales came and communicated any problems. Only half of the tables in the restaurant had guests so they certainly weren't packed and there was no line at the door. We made reservations, and had guests come from OUT OF TOWN to celebrate a birthday with us. A VERY bizarre and disappointing experience. The first time in my entire life I left a restaurant without eating. Something catastrophic must have gone down in the kitchen, but we wouldn't know because no one made the effort to tell us. And we'll never visit again. A major failure

great place!!! We stopped on way into OC and it was the perfect place to stop with the dog. Great beer selection.

First time here, grabbed some wings for lunch, witch were top notch! I tried the honey Old Bay and Buffalo. 😋 Looks like a great spot to hang out in the evening, grab some food and drinks, hang out on the patio, and bring your dog! I've got to come back to try more of their brick oven menu, it all looked so good!

I only write this in order to help this place out on cheesesteaks.
We were sat on the bar side at a table around 7:30ish on a Thursday. The bar was closed so the atmosphere was a little bland but no big deal. We ordered Thai chilli wings that we enjoyed. Later I ordered the cheesesteak, my wife ordered the Cobb salad. Other than the shredded chicken on the Cobb salad being dry, it was a big salad that she liked. The cheesesteak that I ordered was unlike any I’ve ever seen before. It looked like canned dog food spread on a cheap grocery store roll and tasted like canned dog food spread on a cheap grocery store roll, my wife agreed. I’m not sure there was actual cheese on it, more like sour cream mixed into the meat. The meat was not sliced but chunks of what I assume to be beef. The roll had no gluten and was so dry that everything just fell off it. Enough said about that. The tater tots I ordered as a side were done well and a huge order that I filled up on pushing the sandwich aside. All the above and 2 tequila drinks $95. We tipped the server 20% because we liked him despite waiting on the check for about 15 minutes…we’re ready to split this joint.

Ordered the Crab pizza and pepperoni pizza - both fantastic, albeit the Crab pizza was a tad salty. Service was great and we tried many different brews via flights.

The brick oven pizzas are awesome. Outside bar and seating area. Servers are fun and happy to deal with. oh yea 16 beers on tapped too.

Superb food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. Nice and relaxing casual place. Dog friendly. Lots of entertainment and activities + sports on TV.

Twice I've scheduled a large group for drinks and dinner. They are very accommodating. The food and service was excellent both times. It's a nice casual and relaxing atmosphere

I used to really love this place! i visited often years ago because they had the best honey old bay wings. Decided to give them a try again and was SO disappointed! The wings came out still frozen in the center, had to send them back to the kitchen and they were still cold. They were also extremely fatty. After seeing the reviews go downhill i wanted to give them a chance. I wont be visiting again

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere, including Charlie, our server. He was a gem! He brought it all together and made it special.

Didn't have certain menu items. Alcohol drinks were weak and poor customer service.. Had a good experience previously, but this time wasn't there...

All of the food that they offer is amazing. The pizza is one of the best around.

I have been to Tall Tales several times. Meeting friends for a bite, a fun date night with my spouse, and yes, lunch after church! All different experiences, but all delicious and always have the best service. We try different items each time and have never been disappointed. You won’t either!
