I’m writing this review as I’m still sitting at the table eating my dinner. Everything is absolutely delicious and the service is great! We’ve never been left at the table wondering when someone will come back to check on us. We got the fried dumplings (not pictured) which is my favorite appetizer from any Chinese restaurant and they were amazing, shrimp egg foo young, east west shrimp, and general Tsos chicken (pictured left to right). The portions are large so we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow! My only other experience here was picking up crab wontons to go, which were also delicious. I’m looking forward to the next time we come here! It’s a Friday night and they have several tables and I can see why! My pregnant self is very satisfied!

The food is mediocre at best. Here’s my biggest upset with them. Their meat stinks. They don’t trim any of the meat so, for example, the pork has a ton of sautéed fat in it that they serve to bulk up the order and cut down on costs. It’s disgusting. Same with chicken. They don’t get the gristle out and you end up gagging on the parts that you shouldn’t have in your food when you are ordering out. If I am paying someone else to make my food I at least want none of the crap stuff that you feed the dogs with in my food. Can’t see a reason why I would go back unless I want to diet bc of it being nasty and don’t want to consume it.

I ordered Shrimp egg foo young. It came with rice ,wonton soup,and an egg roll .The egg foo young tasted like cornstarch,the gravy was pretty good. The rice tasted like instant rice. The soup was ok it did not have much flavor.The egg roll was a good size the flavor was bland. My fortune cookie didn't even have a fortune.

The place is alright food is good when it's done properly. Small order of Mongolian beer is like 80% onions. Barely any meat.

People that order door dash from here .... You give great tips. Just going to throw that out first.
Got the shumai, and was surprised that they were using store bought ones. For the price you (American people) can buy the same shumai but 3 bags. Plus, when it got to my table it was still frozen in the middle.
Don't go for the sushi menu, it's things thrown together with a high price.
As for the entree, if you are looking for American style over-priced Chinese food this is your place. But for me, the portions are small for the price I'm paying. They didn't even get fried rice right, and that is coming from my wife that was born in China.
If you are looking for real Chinese food, decent sized portions at reasonable prices, then go to Elliott City.

Once a week I normally order take out from East west, the staff is always very nice, and from time to time I give the sushi bar a generous tip and they always give me a free roll for it. I will always recommend East west to anyone who wants Chinese / Japanese food.
