Bought two dozen large crabs. Live 10 mins away, spent my Sunday opening 24 crabs and each one was mushy. Dont know if under or over cooked or what. Literally couldnt pick any meat, just a bunch of slop.

Crabs were tasty, but I definitely paid for large crabs but at best they were medium. That left a nasty taste in mouth. Not really happy about that. I probably won't go back

WOW! First time I have visited Always Best. Baltimore native and love my crabs. Been living elsewhere due to my job and back now. So I’ve been getting caught up. These were outstanding. The biggest they had was Large. Good sized and meaty. Very fair price. I have to say in 50 years of eating crabs these were the best seasoned. I don’t know exactly what they use, but WOW. I found myself scraping the shells with my knife and eating the seasoning. Highly recommend!

Lifelong Pasadena resident here. Just switched from our "go-to" crab house last year to Always Best and now won't eat crabs from anywhere else. Consistently heavy, sweet crabs with the best seasoning in Pasadena. The other places have great staff, but I'm buying crabs, not friends!
