I have gone there on two different occasions and they closed a half hour early. Especially since I drove over 30 minutes to get. They post a time of closing on Friday and Saturday at nine but should post closing at 8:30 instead. That is when they truly close. If you show.up at 8:30 they say sorry we are already closed. So disappointed that they can't stay open utill publish time on door and online.

It's local, so you'll be confused at first. But let that go and hang in there for some of the best Maryland seafood bar none. These are almost certainly the best fried crab cakes... perhaps in the entire Chesapeake Bay. I mean, I've never had something that was less than amazing here. Never. I go for the mussels and jumbo shrimp in addition to the crab cakes, but they have so many different options to choose from that it would probably take a month of eating here every day to try a little bit of everything they offer. Just remember - there is a FRIED side (crab cakes, oysters, fish) and a FRESH side (mussels, shrimp, clams, fish). I go to the fried side and get my crab cakes going, and they give me a ticket with a number on it for that. Then I go to the fresh side, and get my numbered ticket for the shrimp and mussels. Wait 15 minutes, and out comes the freshest seafood you can imagine. I've talked to people that come here from 3 hours away. I've stayed at VRBOs right down the street from them on vacation just to get more visits in. If you are still reading this, just trust that I am not alone in thinking that this is one of the best places you could get the seafood dinner of your dreams. It's self-service, so no waiting on the waiter to get you another drink or fill your glass. No tipping for shotty service. Just down-home, local, terrific food done right.

Food is good (except the crab cake has too much filler) but the loudspeaker used to call numbers was so loud, it ruined the night. We couldn't talk to our family without jumping every minute a number was blaring over the intercom. We asked the staff to turn it down and the grumpy man shouting numbers said no! (They seemed oblivious to the fact that in the back, it's not as loud as it is in the dining area.)

Arundel Seafood has Good food but not worth the prices..i Ordered the 2 Crabcake Platter. Well over cooked and More Cake then Crab. That plus Lge Coke $37.19 the soda was $3.19 and the cup looked like a Medium. Gas and Inflation have been goin dwn but not their prices.

My wife and I have purchased crab cake sandwiches here over the past 15 years+ and they were good. Today we got the same to go and eating at home found both crab cakes were horrible. I called just to let them know something was wrong and the woman answering my call told me she had eaten one for lunch and it was good so I must be wrong., ( In effect calling me and my wife liars). I went to the restaurant and told the manager what happened and the only explanation from the employee was āWell you canāt believe how many calls we get each month like yours .ā Indicating again that we were liars! They didnāt lose us as customers because of 2 bad crab cakes but because of lousy customer service. We only wanted to warn them to check their crab mix not get something free! Dallas Bumgarner

Service was terrible, no air conditioning, the young boy named jake was rude and insulted my girlfriend said he (hated people while making our order) also wiped his hands on his shirt face and hair while making food. He also visibly showed that he hated his job and audibly complained about not getting good tips.
I stopped by Anne Arundel Seafood while I was in the area and decided to try the crab cake and shrimp platter. For $30, I expected a full, satisfying meal, but I left disappointed and still hungry.
The platter came with just three shrimp, a small crab cake, and two sides. Iām from Maryland and fully understand the market price of crab, so I wasnāt expecting a mountain of food, but I was expecting quality. Instead, the crab cake was mostly filler with barely any actual crab meat. For what I received, this shouldāve been a $20 meal at most.
I wish I had read more reviews before visiting. Unfortunately, I feel like I wasted $30 on something that didnāt live up to the price or Maryland seafood standards.

I came here 2 times prior to today and I can say they are pretty good ,but today I got the same as usual which was muscles and half of them were empty š„“I couldnāt believe it but overall food is great just this 1 mishap stuff happens ā¦ Try them for yourself they are pretty good fried crab was to die for! I definitely crave for them now.
