This was honestly the worst BBQ I have ever had. I spent over 50 dollars and got a pulled pork sandwich, and a beef sandwich, that were both refrigerator cold! Not room temp, I am not exaggerating, refrigerator cold! The ribs had long pieces of cartilage in them. With the rib being about 1/3 just fat. The coleslaw and potato salad weren't awful but didn't have any real taste to them, extremely plain. The only good thing we had were the fried pickles and they are just frozen ones that they buy. So they are not even made in house. It took us a long time to get our food and we were the only people in the building as they just opened up. Also, the place was freezing cold. I had to keep my coat on while I ate. That building has zero insulation! I will definitely never go back. I honestly don't understand how this place is still in business

Went back after being disappointed few months ago love going here but once again got disappointed over my order wrong again I get that people make mistakes but if I’m repeating myself and the employee that I’m NOT infront of can clearly hear my order then you’d think it would be done correctly..nope after getting home & comfy ready to eat my order wrong again had to go out in 20 degree weather to bring back the wrong food and them finally give me the correct food I paid for.. this should be compensated! This doesn’t go all the employees most the employees ask all the right questions and makes sure it’s right no matter how busy they are also this was done when I was the only one in there
Also update they gave me $7 hahaha said
they gave me food that I NEVER received this USED to be a fair place I don’t know what is happening but now it become straight disrespectful I wrote them back so they knew I only got what IIIIIII paid for nothing else they ignored me so if u can’t two only bad reviews there recent I wonder why get y’all stuff together this used to be our spot for real this is a joke wha did I get for free!!!??? And if the dude that messed it up did he lied hahaha I told you wht happen 3 times listen and honor and fix YOUR mistakes

Found out about here through a Tiktok. Glad I decided to check it out because I had a great lunch, the turkey had great smoke flavor and was not dried out. The staff was very friendly. Excited to try the beef next time.

Having grown up in Baltimore, I have a strong familiarity with—and appreciation for—traditional Baltimore-style pit beef, which naturally informs this review. I consider Chaps to be the gold standard, earning a 5/5 for its moist cut of beef, depth of flavor, and soft, pillowy potato buns. Their sandwich is so well-executed that condiments are unnecessary.
In comparison, the beef here was noticeably drier, even though it was cooked to an appropriate medium-rare temperature, and it lacked the robust flavor I expect from a pit beef sandwich. The dominant flavors were the roll, mayonnaise, and an intense smoky note that was somewhat overpowering. It was difficult to tell whether this smoke flavor came from the meat itself or from added liquid smoke, but it ultimately overshadowed the beef. This was disappointing, as the meat should be the focal point of a pit beef sandwich. Additionally, the beef contained a fair amount of gristle.
While the sandwich was not bad, it did not stand out among the better pit beef I’ve had, which may simply come down to personal preference. The fries were decent, though they did not align with what I would consider true boardwalk fries. They seemed slightly undercooked and under-seasoned, which was unfortunate, as well-prepared fries can greatly enhance a pit beef meal. The mac and cheese was acceptable but unremarkable.
I would consider returning if I were in the area and specifically craving pit beef, particularly given the noticeable decline in quality at the Glen Burnie Chaps compared to the Baltimore location. The staff were friendly and efficient in preparing my order. This review is not intended as a criticism of the establishment, but rather an honest assessment based on my personal preferences and experiences.

I’m in this place at least 3 times a week getting pit beef and I usually get it by the pound so I can make sandwiches at home and my daughter loves the French fries which she always calls ocean city fries and we get the sampler with the ribs, chicken and sandwich and the portions are large and it doesn’t empty your wallet. All the employees have always been great and polite. I have been going to Beefalo BOBS Carryout for over 20 years and it’s always been a great place for barbecue even the dog loves the doggie bags they have.

This is a large pit beef sandwich. It was sliced thin and it was tender and smokey. I also had the boardwalk fries. I will be back, it was awesome.

I'll preface by saying we've been coming here for years (as well as the old restaurant in Pasadena), so long time, returning customers. We usually order in the store and can see our order as its being made/placed. Tonight we tried online ordering and it was a fiasco. We picked up our order, did a quick peek to make sure everything looked right without actually opening boxes, you know counting the buns & separate meat containers to MYO at home (which we werent expecting to do, we thought they'd be prepared, but thats fine), all sandwiches, sides, fries were accounted for, along with a box, which I presumed was the sampler platter I ordered. All looked fine, we go home and unpack only to realize the box were our onion rings, the sampler was missing, XXL fries were only half full and all the sandwich fixins were missing. We go back to the store, bag in hand, and tell them what all is missing. They were kind and said they'd fix it. The cook said the sampler was there, we told him it was the onion rings, no sampler. He took everything out and checked for himself and then made another box with the chicken (white meat, I ordered dark), and the ribs. He added a smear of some mayo, horseradish & onion on one sandwich that was missing it, added lettuce & onion on another that was missing it (forgot the bbq sauce), and only horseradish on the third sandwich (forgot the mayo & onion). Got us more fries, bagged it all back up and sent us on our way again. This time, I decided to double check before we left the parking lot. Lo and behold, the sandwich that comes with the sampler was missing. I go back in a third time, he hands me a sandwich hes making for someone else (missing lettuce, tomato and tiger sauce). We get home and realize the ways that our order is still not right AND he took out one of our sides (baked beans) and didnt put it back in. We decided it wasn't worth the drive to fix the order again. At this point, we're not sure its worth going back again, tbh. While the food was mostly good, and the staff were nice and willing to fix (kind of) the problems, it's not worth the trouble. We were all pretty disappointed by this whole experience, sadly.

First time customer. Absolutely blown away by the service and the food. We ordered turkey sandwiches, onion rings, fries, baked beans and potato salad. The bread is delicious and light, the spicy and mild bbq sauce were outstanding and all the food was out of this world! We also ordered the doggie bag for our dog, love seeing that nothing goes to waste! 10000/10!!!!

This unassuming hole in the wall has the best pit beef! The smell of great bbq hits you as soon as you walk in. It's loud and smoky, but oh so worth trying! The pit beef is just as smoky and delicious as it smells and lends it's flavor to the pulled pork as well. The sides are also pretty sizable. They call it a carryout for a reason as there are only a few small tables, but the food was still delicious 20 minutes down the road. Highly recommend!

My first time here! I couldn't decide so I ordered their sampler. It was well worth the price!. I will definitely come back! I love the collard greens.! The fries are good too. Looking forward to trying The macaroni and cheese next time. I did request things on the side. I should have double-checked on that, not a big deal since I was taking it home . They deserve a high review they certainly seem to put pride and effort into their work!

Walked in earlier today and ordered a Pit Beef sandwich and fries. The smoky BBQ flavor of that pit beef was to die for. They take their Smoked BBQ serious. Also the workers were extremely friendly, especially the cashier. Best BBQ in Anne Arundel County, can’t beat it. Also less than $10 for a sandwich
