Found out about here through a Tiktok. Glad I decided to check it out because I had a great lunch, the turkey had great smoke flavor and was not dried out. The staff was very friendly. Excited to try the beef next time.
Having grown up in Baltimore, I have a strong familiarity with—and appreciation for—traditional Baltimore-style pit beef, which naturally informs this review. I consider Chaps to be the gold standard, earning a 5/5 for its moist cut of beef, depth of flavor, and soft, pillowy potato buns. Their sandwich is so well-executed that condiments are unnecessary.

I’m in this place at least 3 times a week getting pit beef and I usually get it by the pound so I can make sandwiches at home and my daughter loves the French fries which she always calls ocean city fries and we get the sampler with the ribs, chicken and sandwich and the portions are large and it doesn’t empty your wallet.
