This was our second time having a family dinner here but we brought my folks and my wife's mother this time. We had our 2 year old as well and that kind of comes into play later.

Our waiter was a stand up guy and provided pretty good service. The main snag was getting the main courses out. I think everything must be put together and cooked in real time because this was the second time that it took 40+ minutes to get our meals after the apps. The food was great but don't be in a rush at this southern comfort joint.

Not an in and out sit down place but atmo and food and drinks are worth the price imo.

Betty Lou's is a new neighborhood staple! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is cozy. I've been here on dates, with family and with girl friends and it is truly amazing for every occasion. I've never had a bad meal or experience here. The seasonal menu options are awesome and their alcohol selection is just as high quality as the food.

First time visit . The wait staff was nice and attentive . I had fried catfish, fries and collards greens. The catfish and fries were both overcooked and waited about 20 minutes for the food. My wife’s meal was good, she ordered the quarter chicken with beans and potatoes. We would probably return but maybe skip the fried food.

Easy access in Lakeshore Plaza, right off of 100. Ample and convenient parking right outside.

Our party of 4 was promptly seated at a high-top table (there was also bar seating and standard table seating available).

Friendly waitstaff, patient with us while we familiarized ourselves with the menu- We never felt rushed and our drinks were kept topped up through the meal.

Ample selection of southern comfort food, generous portions cheerfully plated on mismatched china. We had a lovely dinner (scratch made French onion soup, dip, pot pie, short rib, shrimp and grits, and careoy cake-forgot to take a picture). We'll be back! Check it out!

In the heart of Pasadena, Maryland, lies a local gem that embodies the authentic flavors of the Bayou. Every bite of our meal was exquisite, with each dish expertly cooked and seasoned. The coffee was particularly impressive, boasting a rich, New Orleans-style flavor. The atmosphere is characterized by an eclectic, repurposed charm that evokes a sense of warmth and coziness. Meredith, the owner and chef, took the time to introduce herself and share her story, while the staff provided attentive and friendly service. Due to the intimate size of the space, reservations are highly recommended.

Nice surprise in Pasadena. Loved the fried chicken and berry salad. The creamed corn and the french fries were also great.

Pasadena, hear me out. Do not pass up on this dining experience! I have been following this restaurant since day one and could not wait to go. I made a reservation for my besties and I! The owner responded in a timely manner and confirmed my reservation! From the moment we walked in until the time we left, everything was wonderful. The staff was very professional and attentive! I loved the staff outfits and decor, especially the flowers above the bar and the plate wall! Let's get to the best part, food and drinks! We ordered the jerk cauliflower, fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, boudin balls and stuffed jalapeños! For dinner, we ordered the Pumpkin Ravoli, Famous Chicken Pot Pie, Pork Po Boy, Catfish and Shrimp Etouffee! Everyone was satisfied! The cocktails are made perfect balanced and the garnish topped it off! We took a bread pudding to go and it hit the spot. We definitely will be back!

The food and atmosphere were amazing. We loved every bit of our experience. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Betty’s Biscuit with peaches and pecans was like eating something from heaven. We also had the deviled eggs, pot pie, shrimp and grits - all delicious. I cannot wait to go back!

Lovely, homey establishment. Service was great. Food was delicious. The deviled eggs & fried chicken were cooked perfectly. The pot pie pastry crust was flaky & crispy with lots of filling & chicken. The homemade salad dressing were excellent. Will be back very soon.
