Betty Lou's is a new neighborhood staple! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is cozy. I've been here on dates, with family and with girl friends and it is truly amazing for every occasion. I've never had a bad meal or experience here. The seasonal menu options are awesome and their alcohol selection is just as high quality as the food.
First time visit . The wait staff was nice and attentive . I had fried catfish, fries and collards greens. The catfish and fries were both overcooked and waited about 20 minutes for the food. My wife’s meal was good, she ordered the quarter chicken with beans and potatoes. We would probably return but maybe skip the fried food.

Our waiter was a stand up guy and provided pretty good service. The main snag was getting the main courses out. I think everything must be put together and cooked in real time because this was the second time that it took 40+ minutes to get our meals after the apps. The food...
