I ordered the chicken fried steak and you could cut it with a fork. I have had this dish many times and I must say that this was the best ive ever had. I had macaroni salad too and it was delicious. Cookies Kitchen is really a treasured gem in Pasadena! One more thing......Cookie is involved in community affairs and that's a plus too.

I had a fantastic takeout experience here. The fried wings were the highlight of my evening and the Ham and cheese just melted in your mouth. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside for the both of them. Haven't had wings and a sandwich this good since Philly, and it reminded me of home ?
Food is great, staff is super friendly and accommodating. If you like made to order home cooked style food, def worth checking out. I pickup food for my mother who is disabled several times a week and we have only nice things to say.

I was gonna get a breakfast sandwich, but I decided to get the Cheesesteak sub I’ve been living here for six years in Lakeshore. I’m so upset. It was the best sub I ever had. It was so fresh the lettuce, the tomato the mayonnaise the bread. The steak was high quality like very high quality. I highly recommend this place to anyone you walk in as strangers and you walk out as friends very friendly place very reasonable prices. Everything’s homemade good old Mom&Pop store
