The food was very bland and way overpriced for what it was. I didn’t really dig the beer in a plastic cup neither, kinda gives it a keg party vibe. We won’t be going back no time soon.
Food was awesome!! Better than expected!!
It’s was a beautiful day looking at the water and sitting outside.
The location is right on the water it is beautiful and the food was delicious. The service was excellent.
I went here for lunch with a friend. I had a cup of cream of crab soup and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was ok I loved the fries the soup was fair. My friend got 1/2 dozen of crabs and she said they were fantastic.
The ambiance, crabs, food/drinks and amazing customer service at Mike's Crab House North is always consistent. Four of my friends and I visited on Sunday, June 25th around 4pm and surprisingly there was no wait for a table, and we were seated right away on the outdoor patio! We had Brad as our waiter and he was very attentive, courteous and provided excellent customer service...he delivered our drinks, food and crabs in a timely manner, checked in on us periodically to see if we needed anything and occasionally dumped our crab bucket when he noticed it getting full. When asked if we could swap 2 watery crabs out for 2 fresh ones, he gave us 2 new ones without any issues. The highlight of our visit was from Shawn, one of the new managers in training who visited our table as we were waiting on our tab to ensure our visit was a pleasant one. He was a hoot...such a people's person and hilariously funny!
Some of the traditional Maryland crabhouses are gone after the pandemic crisis, Mike's is still there. About half way between Annapolis and Baltimore and off Highwy 2 it is quite some drive - but worth the effort. At the end of a small road, a typical crab house overlooking a small harbour. Maryland blue crabs at its best on a nice terrasse (or inside if you wish) - a hefty, crafty meal :-). On our evening we were accompanied by a couple playing decent country style music. Not a cheap expereience, but given the specialty, all worth it. Service is good, quite speedy.
I'm a Maryland and a crab cake snob. I give these an A+. Grilled (never fried), very large and little filler. Some of the best I've ever eaten. Nice atmosphere, excellent service, free parking. I'll be back.
Great Crabs and the menu had a lot of great choices
A three hour journey worth every mile I drove... Love the ambience the restaurant sits on the marina, there is ample parking and the food was so fresh & delectable! ? Outstanding service thank you Shawn & Cole for making our experience special ? Definitely on my list for a return visit soon ????

The staff is pleasant in serving many came out to enjoy the steaming crabs ? and other selection foods on the menu. I made my choice of returning to enjoy inside/ outside of eating my crabs ?
Amazing food and excellent staff ❤️?❤️
Sitting out on the patio overlooking the marina - perfect! Flounder stuffed with crab imperial was excellent, as was the baked seafood imperial with shrimp, scallops, and crab. Service was good also. Would love to go back.
Off the beaten path but certainly worth it with great water views and a nice happy hour. They have a nice outside deck and bar, but we opted for the inside bar area with equally good window seats. They had $3 happy hour domestic bottles and a 12/$12 raw oyster special that we took advantage of. My bacon wrapped scallop appetizer over a bed of rice was outstanding with the bacon and scallops cooked perfectly. My wife liked her Maryland crab soup and her steamed shrimp. Nice views, a good waiter, quick service, great food and happy hour made for a wonderful afternoon/evening,
3rd time we have been here for all you can eat crabs, excellent food and service.
